Guest gthureson Report post Posted June 21, 2002 As a character? Elektra is fine. But I agree. She doesn't seem strong enough to be able to carry a title by herself. Unlike Silver Sable or Black Widow. Actually, probably only Black Widow is strong enough to carry a monthly, but I still want my monthly dose of silver. Besides, assasins are hard characters to write and still have them be 'heroes'. And very few writers know how to do an anti-hero properly. Witness the monthly abortion that is Hellblazer right now. So it degenerates mainly into violence and gore to mask the fact that the stories aren't that strong. I'm basing these views on flipping through a few issues on the shelf, mind you.
