Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 22, 2002 I've heard from Meltz that ROH is pretty good stuff. I heard it's good if you like workrate. But is it any good? Is it worth $24.95? I'd like to hear from people who have actually seen the show(s).
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted June 22, 2002 I hear from people that says it's good. But I hate the idea that he's booking his shows with 95% cruiserweights who put on nothing but spotfests, and of course Rob will rate everything on the tape *****, so you can't take their word on it. WARNING...it's copygaurded...I have a clean copy coming to me though But don't let my ramblings persuade you, people tell me it's good stuff.

Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted June 22, 2002 The Era of Honor main ( Low Ki v. Fallen Angel v. AmDrag ) was fucking awesome, but that's all that i've seen from ROH.
Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Having attended both the first ROH show & Wrestlemania 18 and MANY Raws & SD!s, I can say without a doubt that the first ROH show is the best show I've ever been to. I'm getting the first 3 shows on tape tomorrow actually. Just for the record, most of the wrestlers are cruiserweights, but not all of them wrestle the high flying style. Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted June 30, 2002 Well, any promotion that's got SPANKY~! has my attention. The guy is comedic gold and a hell of a worker. He has enough charisma to make up for all the guys on the roster who may be able to have good matches, but can't pull off the "entertainment" portion of it. His skit with the PA State Commision guy (Frank Talent is his name I believe) was freaking hilarious, and the matches he's had so far that have been released on home video are pretty damn good (Spanky carried that tag match at the debut show, and did a damn good job of it). Plus, almost everything else is pretty damn swank. I'm not really digging that tag division, though. You got the "Strong Style APA" (Hit Squad), Natural Born Sinners (who I do like), and then about three other teams that they punk out every show. I would really like to see Quiet Storm get some singles action in RoH. He's the best talent of the SAT clan, but, really, besides Chris Devine, none of the others are consistant with their work. He's the best talent of the SAT clan Quiet Storm isn't part of the SAT (Spanish Announce Team). The SATs are Red, Jose Maximo & Joel Maximo. Quiet Storm & Chris Devine were also trained by Mikey so I can understand where you got that mixed up. Dames

I've heard Divine Storm & the SAT referred to a lot as "The SAT Clan" (even on the debut ROH show), so that's what I usually call the whole group.
