Guest MrRant Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Does anyone else love this movie? I picked it up at Best Buy on DVD for $9.99. My next movie I'm gonna get is Flesh Gordon... I love that movie as well... Dr. Jerkoff, Emperor Wang, its the shiznit.

In fact, it was the very first DVD I ever purchased when I started collecting (I have since traded it for the Warner release with the proper cover art and gave my gf the old one). It's a classic sci-fi film that EVERYONE should see. I would love to see the television series make it to DVD.

Well...4 was pretty bleh... CHAPPY~!~!~!~!~!~!~ Anyways... I've heard a lot about Logan's Run, but in all honesty, I've never seen it. I sort of stopped watching sci-fi films, especially the "classics," after seeing Soilent Green and seeing just how incredibly overrated it was. Then again, I grew out of my "if it's sci-fi, I need to see it" phase when I was 12 and saw Return Of The Living Dead for the first time, so I'm addicted to horror. Trade one drug for another, eh?

If it's good, then you guys can be all "oh shit, remakes CAN be good" (for the record, I've only found 2 remakes to be good, Cape Fear and Scarface), but if it's not...then you can make fun of everythign Hollywood stands for. I still need to rent Logan's Run... "Run, runner!" Heh...reminds me of a quote from the comedy Free Enterprise, which is a really GOOD movie. "But, dude, we're the only ones that even REMEMBER Logan's Run!"
