Guest admin Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Ok, well heres some new ideas for people to think about. 1st what would you guys think of TheSmartMarks having a radio station online so that on mondays after whatever you could listen in and here others opinons ans such or really anything around that. 2nd re-adding our IRC Chat room. This will allow board users chat instantly to others in there and will be web-based for all people to use. This seemed to run smoothly before when we had it. Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted June 22, 2002 yeah i was trying to get into kotzenjunge's broadcast but had problems registering through yahoo. if you're gonna do a radio broadcast then make sure you have quality guys cmmentating. i'm all for a chat though. I've never been a big IRC fan, but I know the community would want it, so I'd like to see it done for that reason alone. The radio station would be a good idea just to get the site and its writers some more exposure. Maybe we could start doing the Crossface on the radio? Only issue with post-anything (other than PPV) is those on the West Coast couldn't chime in since it starts for us at what would be 12 midnight on the east coast and we wouldn't be able to tune in unless we want it spoiled for us. Perhaps something the on Wednesdays as a middle of the week Crossface, that way we would have access to Smackdown! Spoilers and can discuss pretty much the whole week. The radio thing works with 1 person doing stuff on their PC so anyone wanting to talk to others would need to either call in and do things or be @ that persons house. Just like a real radio station.
