Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted June 22, 2002 Obviously I'm going with NES here, but I really think in a year X-Box will probably be the most dominate system out there with graphics and sound, gameplay is questionable though
Guest Doomsault Report post Posted June 23, 2002 I've always been a Nintendo fan so I voted for the cube. But I've been thinking about getting a PS2 because of their awesome selection of games. To me X-Box never seemed like too strong of a system, it always appeared as more of an experiment by Gates just to see if he could be successful in the gaming industry as well as the computer ind. Although Halo blew off my britches.
Guest Renegade Report post Posted June 23, 2002 where is the Genesis option? that console was the bomb in its time!
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 23, 2002 NES is getting beaten by a system with only a couple good games and about a year in the market. Oh, come on. RESPECT THE OLD SCHOOL.
Guest Doomsault Report post Posted June 23, 2002 If were talking about best system EVER I'd without a doubt have to say SNES. I said GameCube merely because I've been obsessed with it lately.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted June 23, 2002 I voted GameCube, since it's the only one of those systems I own that works (my NES isn't working). But, if the SNES was on there, I'd have voted for it in a flash. I just got mine hooked back up and have had more fun with it than I have with any "new" game. Once I get EarthBound, I'll have my collection complete...but I won't stop buying.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 23, 2002 Dreamcast gets my vote because: 1) play import games with out any mod chips!!!! just put DCX disc and it will work. 2) UFC, Capcom vs Marvel 2, Capcom vs SNK, KOF 3) SEGA Sports games 4) Sonic 5) Bleem Bleem
Guest Narcoleptic Jumper Report post Posted June 24, 2002 PS2 is easily the best console on the market today. But NES is better, all around.

Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Ps2 seems to have the best franchises: Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, Grand Theft Auto. X-Box probably can handle the best graphics, but PS2's are just fine. Gamecube I'm indifferent to - their lineup hasn't given me much reason to go after one. Super Smash Brothers Melee and Rogue Squadron 2 are the only ones I'd want.
