Fact: HHH is wrestling for the biggest title in said industry this Sunday, in the main event of one of the year's biggest PPV events (*chortle*). Fact: HHH has two injuries and may need surgery. With those three facts in mind, if HHH wins the title Sunday, he will be winning it with two injuries and after going over every week, even when he loses. So, what am I getting at? If HHH loves the business, he will refuse the title, put 'Taker over, get surgery, and come back ready to work. If HHH is a liar, he'll fuck Steph, win the title, and squash Brock at SummerSlam. Guest Kotzenjunge Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 I'm not really a HHHater yet, probably because I only read about his Smackdown shit instead of watch it, because whenever I read the spoilers, my brain convinces me I've watched the actual program. I don't HHHate, yet. The last week or so has really got me on the brink though. I try to give everyone a fair shake until they give me a reason to dislike them. Mr. Helmsley is coming very close to having me openly curse every time he goes on offense or grabs a microphone. My first encounter with outward HHHate was during the Judgment Day match with Jericho. I still say Jericho looked strong for a lot of that match, but when Mr. Helmsley won, I literally yelled "FUCK!" as loud as I could. It was unexpected, but in retrospect had been building up since the Wrestlemania Main Event buildup. I couldn't stand the fact that it was booked around Trips and Steph's Spat. I couldn't stand that the most villainous thing that Jericho was capable of was having Trips' dog run over with a car. I couldn't stand that every time that Jericho was within five miles of Trips, he got his ass kicked verbally or physicially. Then the title reign. Jericho goes for a rematch, but the rematch is built around Stephanie being ejected from the WWF. Trips growled some interviews with Hogan. He blew in the main event of Backlash. I watched some of the Pay Per Views of the first half or so of 2000 over the last week. Trips was so great on the microphone. As a heel, he made me literally hate him, but love his character. The day after Judgment Day 2000, someone asked me who my favorite wrestler was. I was inclined to say The Rock, but I thought about the last five main events Trips was a part of, and how awesome he was, and how much I'd loved his work since Vince left in December. I said "Triple H is my favorite wrestler." It was true from there on until either September or November 2000, depending on my mood. September of 2000 was when the never-closed storyline of the Love Triangle was wiped off of television. He redeemed himself immediately by putting on a great match with Benoit. But all my goodwill ended with the revelation of him as the conspirator with Rikishi, a move that I felt killed him, and destroyed Rikishi's main event push. Then I discovered who Mr. Levesque was enamored with shortly after. The head writer. Now if people ask me my favorite wrestler, one and a half years later, I say "RVD, who I hope beats Triple H at SummerSlam."

This may have been simply because he was feuding with The Rock, my second favorite wrestler at the time, and he had just demolished Owen Hart in a feud. He was also a crappy wrestler at the time, at least to me. My favorite quote back then was "USE THE KNEE, HHH! DON'T FORGET TO ATTACK HIM WITH YOUR KNEE!" Is the Owen feud the first instance of HHH appearing to hold someone down? I have no idea how much influence he had back then, but DAMN if he didn't just make Owen look like a complete idiot at every turn, in EVERY MATCH. On an odd, but appropriate note, while I was writing that last paragraph, I subconsciously wrote "Jericho" instead of that last "Owen".

They also all have big Y2J, RVD, and Angle signs. 3) Triple H gets pissed enough that he leaves the ring to yell at the smarks/fight them 4a) Triple H tears his quad in the scuffle, and gets counted out. 4b) The quad is TOO INTENSE~! to tear again, so the smartmarks either keep him out there long enough to get counted out, or plant Brass Knux in his tights, or SOMETHING to stop The Game! Result--HHH would win the title the next night on Raw.
