VGA Boxes & Game Consoles

Does anyone use one of these to play their consoles on a computer monitor?

 

Here's my situation.. I want to start moving all of my "old gen" consoles into another room and reserve my larger LCD TV for the Wii and PS3. Since most of those older consoles (PS2, SNES, etc) aren't 16:9/Widescreen I've been looking for a 4:3 LCD TV with no fucking luck.. so I figure I'm going to have to go the computer monitor route since you can still get good sized models in a 4:3 aspect ratio.

 

Hence the need for a VGA box.

It looks like it works a-ok. Was just wondering if anyone else regularly uses this one or one like it.
