Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 I still want to know how the hell Myers got over the various injuries he sustained in 1 & 2. In one night: he was shot in the chest a total of TWELVE times, was stabbed in the chest with a knife, in the neck with a knitting needle, in the eye with a wire, fallen off a balconey, shot in BOTH EYES, blown up, and burned to a crispy critter. Can anyone explain to me how he could come through that with his life, health, and vision intact? (And don't even say "He's the personification of evil!" or anything stupid like that.) The same way HHH no sold death when his car got dropped out of the sky.
Guest TheDames7 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Man...you just gave me the worst visual of Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees attempting some sort of sex with each other. Thanks. Dames
Guest Doomsault Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 See, they should've explained in H20 that "Michael Myers" from parts 4 until H20 started were actually copycat killers. It's not too far of a stretch either, as copycat killers DO exist, and it'd be much more believable than being controlled by a cult, or selling his soul for invincibility... But then if he was just a regular person and not a demonic killing machine he'd just be another shmuck in a costume.
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 Jason-can't-even-Kick-a-Female-Robot's-Ass. What-makes-you-think-he-could-beat-Michael-Myers. Easy, Jason is way stronger and harder to kill. The female robot from Jason X would have killed Michael in like 5 seconds. If you watch the preview for Resurrection, you can see Michael getting kicked through a window by Busta Rhymes. Haha. Get a new keyboard already.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 Trick-Or-Treat,Mother....... Sorry.I-thought-it-was-funny.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 i love michael myers because he can get his ass kicked all over a movie and still manage to rack up a huge body count.
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 MICHEAL MYERS RULZ!! (Sorry, a little Edge-and-Christian came out of me) It is just a movie. In movies, especially horror, you are supposed to suspend logic.
Guest GenerationNever Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 It's a moot point because Friday The 13th was a ripoff of Halloween.
Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 "Trick or Treat....Mothafucka!" Best. Line. Ever.

Guest C.H.U.D. Posted July 13, 2002 Report Posted July 13, 2002 Well, I saw it today at a matinee. The verdict? I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The beginning in the hospital was good, then I lost interest until it picked up in third act. I was glad to see a traditional head crushing death, that was a good shout out to the old school crowd. I also liked the idea of the main characters friend telling her where Michael was using the palm pilot, and the last two battles with Michael and Busta were kind of neat. I certainly enjoyed it more than the last two sequels, and hopefully this will lead to part 9 in the future. I still liked Jason X more.

Guest C.H.U.D. Posted July 13, 2002 Report Posted July 13, 2002 He said he was going to get a new keyboard over a month ago. Maybe he should use the money for a movie ticket and buy himself a new keyboard instead.

Guest Black Tiger Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 SPOILER WARNING!!!! I'm gonna be pissed if Laurie Strode wasn't REALLY killed.
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 The movie was okay, but nothing great. Personally they should have ended the damn thing with H2O. But they will continue to make Halloween movies til they have milked all the money out of it. Everyone in the theater was happy to see Laurie die, and Busta added the comedic value to the movie. The funniest part was when Busta was dressed as Michael and was yelling at Michael. But Jamie was what a freshman or something in college. They could have implied she was Laurie's daughter or she could also have been the little girl that was in the first Halloween all grown up, either way it would have worked. It's not like the viewers didn't know there was a connection somewhere(not the sarcasim). But I'm sure we'll see in a few years Halloween 9: Michael Still Lives. Now he has someone else to terrorize for about 2 or 3 more movies. Then after she disappears he will still terrorize people and the body count will rise My opinion I would have liked to see it end on a good note and not a stupid one
Guest Prototype450 Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 Nooooooooooooo They killed Tyra Banks! She is soooooo fine:wub: oh well. Jamie didn't get killed in part six? So who was the girl that had the baby. I's confused.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 Whoa, I saw it yesterday, and C-RIPES... it was awful! Of course the fact that I saw it with a theatre full of noisy idiots (who brought their even noisier kids [!]) probably influences that just a little bit. SPOILER WARNING... I thought the whole point of the previous movies was that Michael Myers was out to kill his family (or at least, his sisters) and that the other bodies just sort of get in the way. Since he finally killed Laurie, why does he want to kill anyone else? Is he like Jason now, just another boring unstoppable killer who kills for no reason or rhyme? Because that really annoyed me. Also, how is it that Michael Myers is 45 years old, and yet he hasn't aged in any of the movies at all. He aged from kid to 21-year old in the first and has stayed exactly the same ever since. Are you trying to tell me between killing people and being comatose from being killed and being parts of various cult's rituals that he has time to work out at the gym and dye his hair?

That's the good thing about seeing movies in Canada. If a movie is rated R, NO ONE under 18 can get in. So that means no teens, and no stupid parents bringing their yappy kids. I love it!

Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 Yea, actually they were for the most part pretty good kids though, but when Myers and Busta Rhymes were fighting, the kid cried "Don't kill Busta!"
Guest Angle-plex Posted July 18, 2002 Report Posted July 18, 2002 It was much better than I thought it would be. I still think the series should have ended with Halloween II though. BTW: Has anyone seen Halloween 6: Producer's Cut? I heard it was a kick ass movie. If it was so much better, why did they release the other crappy version?
