Guest HBK16 Report post Posted June 23, 2002 Everytime I ask this question I never get an answer. Hopefully this time is diferent. Did RVD use Pantera's Walk for his theme or was it some one else? Thans.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 24, 2002 That was indeed Mr. Pay Per View Himself, RVD. Yes.
Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Sadly, they only played the Chorus so most people (read : idiots) thought it was called "Respect," ugh, i hate people who dont atleast know that riff. It's up there with "Iron Man" for most recognizable.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Can't forget Kilgore did it on the ECW album. It became the theme later on.
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Yes Kilgore. When did he start using them as the theme?
Guest SupaTaft Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Actually the most recognizable riff is from "I cant get no satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. It was officially voted so by the kind folks at VH1.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I'm guessing Kilgore comes into play (pun intended) in late 1998...unless my years are mixed up.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Kilgore's version is surprisingly decent for a cover. I figured the most recognizable riff would be "Smoke On The Water?"
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted June 24, 2002 RE-SPECT....WALK. WHATTA YOU SAY? ::SG points to head head with both thumbs:: Taz used War Machine and then they cut in his "Survive is I let you" shit into it, right?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I believe Pantera was the theme up until the ECW: This is Extreme album was released then Kilgore covered the song which was RVDs theme until he joined WWF. if you do a search on Kazaa you can get nearly every theme song from FBI to Chilly Willy!!!!
