Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 19, 2008 catch the ball with your hands. Just to clarify Chris, what this means is that a lot of guys who play receivers try to make catches too close to their body, but what happens a lot of the time with this is that the ball will bounce. This is what you'll look like: You watch wrestling, right? You want to make that stupid sign DDP used to make all the time. Ah, this one: except with your fingers tight and possibly with your index fingers kind of overlapping. That hole you leave there is where you want the nipple of the football to land. Obi Chris Kenobi 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 OK, so if they ask me to try out for WR a bit more is there any good videos to watch out there, or books to read up on. Mainly play based or something similar. I copied something Edwards did against the Giants last week, which worked well during the try outs, where he'd fake a cut outside and run inside. Bit similar to Peter Beardsley dropped his left shoulder, to feign left, then darting out right.
