For god's sake, he squashed RVD tonight. Couldn't he at least have busted out that move in the process? Ya know, it surely would HURT his non existent heat or anything.

EDIT: Brock is still a shitty choice for King of the Ring, though.

Seriously, Brock's SSP is like poetry. This has little to do with his size--his has a smooth, flowing motion that Kidman's (who's own SSP is pretty damn good) lacks. Wow.

I guess...But I would take that over an Awesome plancha anyday...

*is also EXTREMELY pissed he went over RVD tonight*

By the time Brock busts out the SSP on WWE TV, I hope Kidman's found a new finisher, because, well...look at it!

So Brock doing the SSP will get him over? One move wont do anything for his heatless run as King of the Ring, what the WWE just did was career assasination on Brock. The guy looks like he is lost in the ring sometimes, and giving him this amazing push is too much for Brocky. Just like Edge, he might Billy Gunn his king of the ring win. I feel too bad for Brock b/c i'm a big fan of his but I have enough common sense to know that he is not ready for this, and like always the weewee will shove him down our throats, and eventually all the fans will reject him like we did Rock , Edge, Gunn, Show, and all the next big things that weren't ready at the time.

Ummm....guys, may I remind you that even though Brock DID go over, that means that SOMEBODY that is a FACE has to fight him at SS. Just remember that...

How has Edge billygunned his title? Though it took several months, right before the injury, Edge was over.

I know I hate Brock right about, now... but that was awesome.

I mean Kidman does a good one, but DAMN! That was fucking... perfect. Swift, too.

*thinks about the RVD/Brock match tonight, then about the vid of him doing the SSP*

... Fuck Brock.

humonguos, I think it has something to do with the fact that Brock isn't in his natural surroundings. I was at RAW on Monday, and when he and Rocky faced each other (off camera), Rocky was taller than he was. I say Vince lets Brock just be a speed/technical/power guy, and not just a pure power guy. Brock has a lot more in his arsenal, and it sucks that Vince is holding him back...

You might be right about that because this green monster persona of his seems to be very confuse. And Edge is still not over, even though Angle tried his best to get him there.

Angle succeeded in getting Edge over. Genuine fan pops (and not the pre-recorded kind that are so prevelant on SD! as of late) are a testament to that. I think Edge is decent at best, but I'm not going to deny his increasing popularity.

But this all belongs in another thread, anyway.

Edge gets very good enterance pops.

His moves generate a good amount of heat during matches too.

Edge is pretty darn over.

Brock is the opposite of all of that.

Well he is not as over as everybody else is making him to be. He is over as an upper/borderline main eventer mid carder that's not quite ready to win the weewee title. But I agree he is way more over than Brock.

Thats exactly how over I think he is too.

Edge I mean. He's not nearly as beleivable or over enough to be a main eventer.

Brock is far less than that.

I agree with the guys who have defended Edge in this thread, he definitley hasn't Billy Gunned the title. He was crazy-over before his injury, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win the Undisputed World Title sometime in this next year or so. If the feud with Jericho upon his return, his second main event feud, goes well, it proves he has legs as a main eventer, in my eyes.

Well, Edge said when he came back, he'd be going after the title. Either that or he'll get into a program with Trips. They were planting the seeds for a feud before Judgment Day after all. I was starting to see Edge as a big-time player right before the injury. Any talk of him Gunning his Kingship kinda falls on deaf ears with me. I feel he, since they got him out of that awful Regal program and stuck him with a Main Eventer, has been working at his peak and speaking fairly well. Maybe it's motivation to continue his own elevation, I don't know, but I feel that he would look perfectly fine and in place feuding with Trips when he returns. Hell, I've got them in a 99% Heat feud on EWR right now.

He'll probably be put in a program with Jericho though, which is all right with me. Perhaps working with a highly motivated and eager to improve worker will spur Jericho to put on undeniable Main Event performances, and elevate Edge further in the process.

Getting back to Brock, anyone know who the poor soul is that Brock killed with the SSP in that clip?

I'm guessing the reason Edge is "not over" is 'cause you don't like him.

Well he is not as over as everybody else is making him to be.

The only explanation I have for this is that listening to Michael Cole and Tazz every Thursday is the extent of your human interaction.

I hope you can get that cable in soon!

He is over as an upper/borderline main eventer mid carder that's not quite ready to win the weewee title.

Y'know, that's something that kinda works ... considering that's exactly what he is.

Oh ... and those new backpedals you got on your bike?

Very sharp.

It doesn't look like he hit the guy hard at all - like it has no impact.

Just from that video, I mean.

I don't know how anyone could hate Brock Lesnar. He can't help it if right know he sucks. The WWE is pushing Lesnar when he's green and not over enough for this monster push.

It took the Rock to completley change before he became a huge star. Just because he's huge doesn't mean he can play the unbeatable monster heel well.
