Ok...I watched this steaming pile of racoon poop the other day, and while I didn't like it, it's been driving me nuts trying to think of the 12 ghosts, not including the father as 13. Here's what I got

 

Little Boy dressed as an indian

The fat guy dressed as a baby

Fat Guy's Mom

The chick that was hanging

The guy's dead wife

The Torso

The Hammer (guy with nails)

The Juggernaut (one they captured at the beginning)

Jackyl (dude with the head piece)

The Princess (Tits and knife)

The Prince (Bat)

 

Now who's the other one?! This has been pissing me off since Friday and I am NOT watching that damn thing again.

If you thought Thirteen Ghosts was bad, then you must never (under ANY circumstances) rent Zombie Chronicles. This piece of indy shit was filmed using only a digital camera, and is supposed to be a combination of "Tales From The Crypt" and Dawn Of The Dead, but comes off as pure shit.

 

Tons of gore, but the best thing about is the previews for other Brain Damage Productions releases like Hell's Highway, which had probably the best head-crushing scene I've EVER viewed. Plus, TONS of boobs.

on the DVD there is a nice feature that explains the history of the ghosts.

 

Such as the fat man-child and midget were circus folk.

 

the little child cowboy was a western mark and got shot while playing cowboys and indians.

 

Juggernaught was a railroad worker during the slave days and was killed by a lynch mob of white town people.

Actually, raza, The Hammer was the one killed by the lynching mob. The Juggernaut went insane and killed people in his car-crushing compound because his adopted father (or something) was murdered.

Another reason this flick sucked: what's the point of having elaborate backstories to the ghosts if it's never going to be explained, or even referred to, in the movie?

I enjoyed Dark Castle's first film House on Haunted Hill much more (Jeffrey Combs!!!!).

 

Dark Castle has a new movie coming out this October called Ghost Ship. It's not a remake of a William Castle film, but it sounds cool. The poster rawks.

True, true. But 13 Ghosts was his first movie, he may get better. Hell, James Cameron's first movie was Piranha II: The Spawning.
