Indeed...although I do want to see Rock pin Undertaker to win the Undisputed title... (Forget the brand extension..."ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE WWF" remember? And also, 3 years ago, Austin beat Taker to win the title the night after KOTR. Will history repeat itself?
Guest BigTim2002 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 RVD gets his title shot back from Brock via Heyman's botched interference, and then FACE TURN, HERE HE COMES!

Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Here's to hoping for a hotshot! *raises glass* Seriously, though... I am seeing a long promo from Eddie and Bubba to see how good Mr. Dudley is on the stick. I also see, during this promo, Benoit attacking Bubba, only to have Rob Van Dam save him. That is, is Robbie isn't in the middle of a hotshot angle with Brock. I can also see a nWo skit on Rock/Booker/Goldust, and a fourth member joining the latter clan... maybe Bubba? Undertaker will try to cut a promo tonight, only to be interrupted by a SUPER CRAZY MISSILE DROPKICK! from Jeff Hardy. Or maybe we'll see Hardy/Raven. And finally, possibly a hotshot angle from Lesnar to Van Dam. I'm unsure on this one. - Mike Van Siclen. *clink*!
Guest Anubis Puppet Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I see X-Pac returning the job to RVD from last week and winning the IC in a two minute squash.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I want Brock to walk out of the back wearing a black and gold crown with a black cape and having Heyman running along behind him carring the cape... I have weird ideas,eh?

Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Can't forget Paul Heyman cutting a promo and shooting on people. It was really odd with him at the announcer's table last night. Nothing like real heat rearing its ugly head.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I hope they don't put Lesnar's shot at SS on the line, period. They are trying to build something here and although I don't like the person they have selected to build it towards, I want them to sustain it. If they start putting Lesnar's shot on the line in matches, it's Russocity all over again. I really hope they go with winner of KOTR gets a title shot at SS from now on. Just like winner of The Royal Rumble gets a shot at WM. The build works better if you just leave the match alone for 2 months or so. I think part of what hurt this year's main event at WM was the fact that the title match was put up at no way out and then put up again the next night. Just leave things be and see what happens. This is the first sign of long term booking and I want to see it sustained. Cause obviously the week to week booking we have been seeing since 2001 is not working. Guest Shadow Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Dangerous, Lesnar isn't even close to ready, so they have to have him lose the shot. They can build someone new who ISN'T green and un-over and can work a good match over 5 minutes. Wait....I think I know a guy who fits that profile! His initials are R-V-D! Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted June 24, 2002 "-Brock Lesnar's King of the Ring win will be celebrated with a coronation ceremony. " - WWE.com Ooooh, now that is a lead-in for someone crashing the party. Van Dam? Rock? Heyman? Someone else? You should know my pick... - Mike Van Siclen. Word. But if that was the plan, they never would have had him win the tournament. They feel he's ready and you know they always go with what they feel the people want. If they wanted RVD to win, they would have had Heyman make a mistake to cost him the match.
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted June 24, 2002 Why does it seem like after every pay per view they put out (an event which is usually supposed to cap things off), the message of the show is "tune in tomorrow night to see what really happens"......?? Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted June 24, 2002 i have absolutely no desire to watch raw tonight. none. nothing from the ppv last night made me excited about the direction of this company. MAYBE booker t but what's the point if he becomes the nwo's jobber boy. i think tonight will be the first time i haven't bothered to tape or watch raw in a very long time. so let the backlash begin and see the most hardcore fans finally search for thier wrestling fix somewhere else. Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I agree that they should try to make winning KotR mean something by letting the winner KEEP his shot at SS. But that tradition can start next year - hotshot it to RVD!

Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 24, 2002 That's a fucking shame that they only mention the guy who is VERY over in the company, but mentions him as Brock's bitchtoy.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted June 24, 2002 I also think it would be pretty damn funny seeing Brock in a crown, cape, and scepter, like Angle in 2000. He'd look hilarious
