Looks like Fedor will be a major player in Pride heavyweight division now. Rings world champion and now a win over Schilt who was probably going to get to fight Minotauro if he had won this.

Yeah Silva hurt him pretty bad at Pride 17. I don't think they've pinned down his return yet, but it should happen this year. There are rumors he's fighting Frank Shamrock but I dunno. That's something I'll have to see to believe.

How many Gracies has Sakurba beat anyways?

He's beaten four. Royler, Ryan, Renzo, and Royce (this was Royce Gracie's only loss ever. a 90-minute war without a KO or submission, eventually Royce couldn't continue and his corner threw in the towel)

 

Sakuraba still hasn't fought the best of the Gracies, Rickson. It would've been the biggest MMA match ever, but Rickson is so old now that it looks like this fight will never happen.

A Rickson vs Sakuraba fight would kick ass. I would bet on Sakuraba though, since Rickson is old now.

Sakuraba should be back for the November show according to Puroresupower. He was offered a match with Mirko Filopovic but declines due to now being 100% physically.
