KOTR 2002:

KOTR Semis: Rob Van Dam d. Chris Jericho- ***3/4

Some might say this is too high of a rating, but I liked the overall flow of the match, and it got really hot in the second half of the match. Still, first half was a bit too slow to warrant ****.

KOTR Semis: Brock Lesnar d. Test- **

Much better than I expected, and I liked that it wasn't just a squash.

WWE Cruiserweight Title: Jamie Nobles d. The Hurricane- **1/2

Watching that TNA 6-Man cruiser match last week, I wish the WWE would let their cruisers work that style. Spotfests are fine if you limit them to one per show. As it stands, the WWE cruiser style is way too slow. Let them work like cruisers, instead of like mini-heavyweights.

Ric Flair d. Eddy Guerreo- ***1/2

A lot higher than the other ratings I've seen so far, but I really enjoyed the psychology of Eddy working on Ric's leg to weaken it for the Figure Four- that's a prime example of telling a story through a match, since Ric did the same to countless oponnents. Ending wasn't that great, though, which subtracted a bit from my score.

WWE Women's Title Match: Molly Holly d. Trish Stratus- ***

Very good for a Women's match.

Kurt Angle d. Hulk Hogan: 1/2*

Well, Angle couldn't carry Hogan, not going to hold that against him though. The half-star comes from the finish alone, otherwise this would be a DUD. I marked out for Hogan tapping to Angle cleanly, though.

KOTR Finals: Brock Lesnar d. Rob Van Dam- 1/2*

Bad, bad, bad! How is Lesnar supposed to be a top guy when he can't even work a match over five minutes?

WWE Undisputed World Title Match: Undertaker d. Triple H- *

Too slow, but the last half picked up a bit. Fuck the WWE for teasing a Triple H heel turn to the nWo, though, since I would have majorly marked-out for that.

Overall KOTR Rating- **1/2

Nothing got **** or over but there wasn't anything offensivley bad either, so just another average PPV. Flair-Guerreo and RVD-Jericho definitley saved it for me, though.
