Guest Angle is Wrestling Report post Posted June 25, 2002 I can really see this happening. I don't expect Raven to be completely gone from WWE TV, or else there would have been no point to have Matt Hardy attack him and then show the replay. So I'm thinking they'll do the angle where Raven is controlling Matt Hardy's mind, and gets him to realize that Jeff Hardy is taking all his spotlight (Jeff getting a title shot vs. Undertaker). This could cause Matt to attack Jeff in the match with UT next week, disrupting the God Awful possibility of Jeff Hardy becoming an Undisputed Champion, and setting up Matt vs. Jeff with Raven controlling Matt. Of course, that would kind of make sense, so it won't happen.
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Next week on RAW if they go through with this you'll probably see Vince make another Raven/Dreamer match with two guys, maybe Crash Holly vs Steven Richards. Richards looses then next week on RAW Raven and Richards are sitting in the front row. Repeat the formula until a flock is made.
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted June 25, 2002 One more thing that MUST be done: Give the man his old WCW flock music. That nirvana ripoff fucking ruled!
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Yeah, that "Come As You Are" rip-off DID rule... I'd say get Voltaire to do Raven's theme. If you don't know who Voltaire is (and I don't blame you at all, since he's REALLY underground), he's an acoustic goth musicians whose songs are fully done acoustically. I think an acoustic goth theme for Raven would own so much. And I actually had that thought, Curry, about the losers of the several "Loser Leaves Town" matches all making a Flock-like stable. One thing: MAKE RAVEN WEAR THE FUCKING LEATHER JACKET, TORN SHORTS, TORN SHIRTS, AND HAVE HIM GET HIS OLD HAIRCUT BACK. Fucking shit, man, THAT'S NOT RAVEN RIGHT THERE. Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 25, 2002 I don't get it. Matt beats up Raven on Raw. Matt fights Raven on Heat. Next Raw Matt turns on Jeff and joins Raven because Raven is "controlling his mind". WTF?
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted June 25, 2002 I'm not too hot on seeing a Flock rebirth, especially since Raven is pretty broken down and useless in the ring for the most part, but if it makes some interesting TV, then fuck it.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Raven can still go in the ring, but he has been put in 2 minute matches with other guys who falt out suck. If Raven was allowed to work "Raven Rules" matches, they would be pretty damn good.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 25, 2002 If Matt had any mic skills he could be in the Flock.
Guest joshicho Report post Posted June 25, 2002 A new Flock would be sooo cool, but other than Raven and Matt, I cant think of any more members? Kidman maybe, but hes on SD
Guest gwf0704 Report post Posted June 25, 2002 If Matt had any mic skills he could be in the Flock. If I remember correctly Raven usually did all the talking in the Flock to mic skills dont really matter.... Only way I can think of is if Vince uses the same rule on Smackdown and get Saturn and Kidman while on Raw dont really see any other member.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Kidman is above being involved in the Flock, especially if the Flock wouldn't appear on Raw or Smackdown.

Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted June 25, 2002 I agree w/ the 'Raven needs his old look' thing. I was fine with the red dyed dreadlocks, but not the leather shorts & shirtless thing. And they have Raven, Richards, Matt Hardy, Nova, they could always steal the Blue Meanie from whatever 2-Bit indy promotion he's in, and they probably could put some random kinda-big guy to play the Brian Lee role. MASTER NINJA THEME SONG!!!
Guest PlatypusFool Report post Posted June 25, 2002 I don't get it. Matt beats up Raven on Raw. Matt fights Raven on Heat. Next Raw Matt turns on Jeff and joins Raven because Raven is "controlling his mind". WTF? In case you don't know what The Flock is / was, here's a very quick low down. In WCW, Raven used his skills of persuasion to take advantage of guys who were being wronged in some way, and convinced them to turn on their friends and join with him. The whole thing was very cool and produced some great midcard matches with folk like Kidman and Saturn in the stable. The fact is, after their feud, Raven can befriend Matt and convince him that Jeff is holding him back. If he wasn't, why would Matt be fighting on Heat would he? People have been looking for a Flock reformation for a while now as something for the misused talent on the mid card to do, and Matt has always been pegged as a possibly Kidman replacement, so hopefully this will lead to something. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Kidman is above being involved in the Flock, especially if the Flock wouldn't appear on Raw or Smackdown. Being the Cruiser jobber is above being a guy in a jobber stable? How?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted June 26, 2002 Actually, Chavo seems to be the Cruiser jobber, but that's neither here nor there. It seems they are grooming Kidman to get him out of the Cruiser division (i.e. tagging w/ Venis against Jericho & Lance). He's one of the more talented workers on the roster, so I can't see any point to burying him on Heat w/ a group of storyline rejects.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 26, 2002 Chavo??? Funaki jobbed to Chavo, so what does that make him. The Crusier Pecking Order 1. Hurricane 2. Knoble 3. Kidman 4. Tajiri (where has he been) 5. Chavo 6. Funaki

Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted June 26, 2002 This is all assuming if Vince & the bookers will ever bring the Flock (a former WCW stable) into the WWE...........hmmmm
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 26, 2002 You got that right. Vince didn't put any of the old WCWer's over so why would he start now? Vince just doesn't know how to do invasion angles that will result in business. All he knows is how to destroy whatever is in his path. As someone on this board and Meltzer has said, I wonder if Vince is more lucky than good when it comes to his handling of wrestling?
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I know they are way more popular and whatnot but Vince did bring back the nWo, which he didn't create so it's possible. Either way, how many of the average fans will remember the Flock anyway? I think Richards would be an obvious choice, maybe Justin Credible b/c obviously he's up to nothing......someone from HWA or OVW or a returning star like Kanyon would be alright too. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted June 26, 2002 Vince feels Hogan, Hall, and Nash are WWF homegrown talent (which they are), and plus it's the clique, so of course the NWO will be pushed. The Flock members didn't originiate in the WWF, and are a WCW homegrown stable..... The NWO is a WCW stable meant to ruin WCW.....there's the connection for Vince......
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted June 26, 2002 The whole Flock idea was actually an ECW originated thing. But the nWo was a WCW stable, it's always been associated with WCW, it's what started the WWF ass kicking by WCW (correct me if I'm wrong), so the fact that vince would bring in the nWo says that he might do a Flock, too. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I wouldn't mind seeing Raven's Flock in the WWE. I'm sick of seeing one annoying ass stable (nWold). I need some kind of alternative. Many people on this board said Lance Storm and Christian might create some kind of pro-Canadian stable. I'm not saying for the WWE to have as many stables as they did in 1997 (gang wars..... ), but it's tiring seeing the nWo strut their shit around and half the members on the stable are not even active wrestlers. Charisma can get you far, but how far damnit?! Basically, it'd be nice to have The Flock in the WWE. Something WWE casual fans don't know about and would be introduced to......
