Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 18, 2008 It's true. I have had very little motivation in perfecting a new one too, when all the ones I've had up to this point are more sloppy than joe.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted December 18, 2008 What would you even consider a sloppy joe sauce? Tomato-based? Barbecue? It's just..slop. I think I'm going to grind up sirloin and shallots. The sauce is confounding me though. I need to gameplan.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2008 I've added barbecue sauce to Manwich. I like that. A buddy of mine made some kind of mix of BBQ sauce, ketchup and Dr. Pepper.
Moots 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2009 I've added barbecue sauce to Manwich. I like that. A buddy of mine made some kind of mix of BBQ sauce, ketchup and Dr. Pepper. Surely you aren't talking about my coke/soy/ketchup BBQ sauce? Best rib sauce in the world. Also sir, in regards to you not being able to take ravioli as a serious food, remember that the stuffed dumpling (Ravioli, Perogi, Kreplach, manti, vareniki etc) is featured in almost every country's national cuisine. It's not the ravioli's fault that it was perverted by the mass produced food whore chef boyardee.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Somehow, Arby sauce is good in Sloppy Joe mix.
The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 My next goal: Developing a badass Sloppy Joe. Oh man, do I have some bad ass Joe recipes. Amazing how long I've kind of ignored this folder considering how much I love to cook.
