The Main Problem With These Feds Like Wwa Nwa

Recommended Posts

Guest Trivia247

WWA and NWA TNA put on the one thing that would be a Ratings killer..

The WWF did it too but now knows better not to do it anymore..

And what did these feds do????

From like some mid 80's premise in Promoters heads.

They put on.....

MIDGETS!

WWA.. and NWA TNA have fricken MIDGET matches!

What do they know they are Low ball Feds that they couldn't raise it up to Popularity with unknown qualities like TALENT and wrestling ability, they need to do Ratings Goof like fricken Migets.

oye

Oh please, there is room on a card for a short, entertaining comedy segment like a midget match. As long as you have great talent for the rest of the matches there is certainly room for some light entertainment provided by running, leaping, midgets. It's all part of a varied card... which is what WWE is missing right now.

NWA:TNA has to stop acting so redneck-ish. Wrestling already has that name attatched to it, but god damn! Country Singers, NASCAR drivers promoting matches, The Dupps, and so on...

.....Umm yea.....what Fake_Razor said man......

Seriously, the NWA-TNA is a show that seems to be parlaying its product to rednecks. It'd be nice if they try and make it appeal more to a national audience rather than just people from the deep south......

perhaps Jerry Jarrett is still thinking only Indi Territory. Thinking he would only work his little Wrestling turf and never Expand. he won't expand if he caters to one group like you say. WCW was around a Decade but its National and World wide shows it has they still was seen as a redneck Atlanta territory.

i agree about the midget matches. if you are going to have a midget match, bring in some little mexican dude because they do it best. having two midgets in a hardcore match is not entertainment. how long before vince signs them?

It does seem like the Jarrett's are for getting thnat people outside of Nashville can watch the PPV it is based entirley to much on Southern trends that make it look like a bush league regional promotion.

I agree that focusing on a southern mentality will hurt the company. They won't gain any lasting support over the rest of the country if they continue to appeal to a southern base. Using race car drivers and country singers may help them in Dixie, but it won't work anywhere else.

In the end, it boils down to both wanna-be promotions promising something new and different, then going back to the same tired WWF & WCW rejects to carry their company, booking the same tired matches, using the same T&A both companies beat into teh ground, and basically rehashing all the crap that killed WCW and has made WWE into the crap product it is.

They need to change the focus of the product, from Sports Entertainment Crash TV, to... something else. ANYTHING. Focus on the wrestling. Take the storylines to another level, think outside the box. These upstarts are thinking inside the same box that the WWE and WCW created all those years ago.

But what? you ask. Well, that's why I'm not a wrestling promoter.

P.S. If Vince is a genius, then why the hell are we getting the crap we're getting on WWE TV now?
