Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted June 25, 2002 They can only put him in so many matches before the rub is gone. He's already jobbed to Austin, Taker, and Vince, so what more do they expect from him? He's been working the same match over and over again and eventually it's just going to stop meaning anything. I don't see how they can keep him as a wrestler with the shape he's in. Could retirement be on the horrizon? If so, to who? Benoit?
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted June 25, 2002 He'll be on Heat with Coach. Were every other week, Crash Holly will call him out and Flair will have his 2 minute matches.
Guest PlatypusFool Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Well if there is one way to get someone over as a heel it's gonna be to retire Flair. In fact, I don't mind too much how long veterans like Flair, Undertaker and HHH (he might not be a veteran, but he certainly wrestles like one) hold on to their main event spots for, as long as they do the clean job to someone in their retirement match to get new folks over, just like Foley did. Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted June 25, 2002 If they do have a heel cleanly beat Flair to retire him, it should be Benoit. He and Flair can have a hell of a match before Flair ultimately passes the torch to him.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 25, 2002 Flair-Lesnar will probably happen sooner or later, as well as Flair-Benoit.
