Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I thought Spike Dudley's "Take on Me" video would go down as the worst entrance video of all time ... until I saw Vince McMahon's new video. What the hell is that? It reminds me of some Eastern bloc propoganda-type stuff. So now the list looks like this: 1. Vince McMussolini 2. Spike "A-ha" Dudley 3. Mark Henry's "Sexual Chocolate bar" 4. Brock Lesnar's "Aren't I supposed to be intimidating? Then why am I smiling so much?" video 5. Stephanie McMahon's "Street Whore" video

Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I love Vince's new video. They show all his funny expressions, which is the only reason I bother to watch the guy anymore. The Hogan poses, the Flair impression, the great big toothy grins. Of course, you barely get to see any of it on TV, but it's damn funny to watch. My worst picks for bad videos is: Goldust. Half the footage in this is like 5 years old. I also don't like HHH's EXXXTREME CLOSE UP video, Spike's "A 14 year old girl doodled this on her sketchbook" video, Regal's new video (Boring!), and Trish's "looking at this you'd think I have no wrestling talent" video. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I don't know if they've bothered to change it since then, but Lita's entrance video from "Smackdown: Just Bring It" is mostly footage from the Essa Rios days. Triple H's video is fine, but that huge flashing "INTENSE" face that appears behind him on the stage is scary. And on a related note, is anyone else really sick of the "Stick in my catchphrase before my music starts" phenomenon? It hit a new low last week when I heard some distant voice say, "How ya like me now?" before Hardcore Holley came out.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted June 26, 2002 She had a new one at WM X-8, but she now has the WORST THEME EVER! It's alright until the vocals start.

It hit a new low last week when I heard some distant voice say, "How ya like me now?" before Hardcore Holley came out. Guess what else? I watched Velocity on Saturday recently and Faarooq's "I'll be DAMNED!" catchphrase came on before his theme. These catchphrases in the themes need to go, they sound so moronic like we won't even remember what those wrestlers say.
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted June 26, 2002 id like if Faarooq's theme was a techno song that said DAMN throughout
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted June 26, 2002 The Million Dollar Man's cackle, the greatest catchphrase introduction ever. Except for his and Rock's, everybody else's catchphrase intro is unnecessary/just plain sucks.

Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I have to Echo Nagata Lock's post. There should be NO ONE talking before the music hits unless you have a kick ass cackle.

It's not what you was talking about, but his alliance theme did have a part where it broke down and it kinda sounded like it was saying "What" over and over
Guest Gendo Report post Posted June 26, 2002 Since the WWE seems to be hot on 80's nostalgia with Hulk Hogan and doing an Ah-Ha like entrance for Spike, what they need to do is dress up Albert in a White Collared shirt and a Red Sweater, make his finisher the Fat Albert Flip-Flop, and then start his entrance with a "Hey Hey Hey!" and get some Cosby Kid groove going on after it. Hell bring Jake the Snake back and have him be his manager and you could call him Mush-Mouth since he seems to have done a great job slurring his promos for the last few years. Guest Perfect Plex Report post Posted June 26, 2002 The other exception to the rule is Eddy's "Latiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiino Heeeeeeeeeeat" in his theme. That's all good. Otherwise, you're right, that shit sucks. Speaking of outdated videos...did it bother anyone else that until about 2 months ago, all the footage in Test's video was from the his EARLY corporation days? When they FINALLY traded it in for one with recent stuff, they also switched his pretty decent theme for one of the lamest in WWfeh history. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I'd like to nominate Chris Nowinski as having the best entrance video. I mark for Chris Nowinski!
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 27, 2002 Before he had some actual matches to grab highlights from, Booker T's first WWF video sucked. It was just shots of him hopping over the guardrail at KOTR and shaking hands with Shane McMahon.
Guest lomasmoney Report post Posted June 27, 2002 does anyone remember the equally horrible big show/ undertaker entrance video from back in like 98 when they were a team
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I kinda dig the "Take on Me" Spike video. I'm willing to bet the music fits perfectly. The idea about have a Farooq techno song where he says "damn" over and over again is brilliant.

Slayer does Test's new theme, all they need to do is cut out the retarded, "Test, test, this is a test" bit at the beginning that accompanied his old music. What the hell were the vocals saying anyway? it sounded like "Here we go, give a gam, give a gurdy gam." Other than that, the new music's the shiat.

I'm not going to contradict someone's opinion, because this forum is here for us to get to know and love one another. But even as a Slayer fan, the new Test theme sounds like something I'd listen to while taking a shit. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I hereby nominate Reverend DVon's Video as the worst, and his music is just as bad. TESTIFY~!!!!
Guest DrEvil Report post Posted June 27, 2002 The Million Dollar Man's cackle, the greatest catchphrase introduction ever. Except for his and Rock's, everybody else's catchphrase intro is unnecessary/just plain sucks. Nah, "Lives are gonna be... In Waylon Mercy's hands.... Ya know what I mean." is the greatest theme intro. It's a catchphrase that really worked with the character, and Spivey played it great. I actually like Booker T's opening also. I guess because of how Booker uses the catchphrase in everything he does. It doesn't just seem to be something thrown in to make up a catchphrae.
Guest Si82 Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I'd like to nominate Chris Nowinski as having the best entrance video. You can't be serious about that, right? His music and entrance video both suck. They need to give a some new music and a video fast!
Guest FakeRazor Report post Posted June 27, 2002 The vocals in Test's old theme always sounded like, "Kevin Nash, you don't have a care.." to me. In the chorus I mean, while they're saying "Test, test, this is a test."

Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 27, 2002 i liked spike's cartoon as well although he needs to ditch the music the dudley boyz were using from the day they entered the wwf. the worst right now is brock's. vince's new video rules all because, like someone said earlier, it shows all of his funny facial expressions and movements. Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I love Hurricane's video. Sure, you can tell he's not ACTUALLY flying around NYC and the rest of the world... but it looks so cheesy, it's funny and great. Plus, Hurricane needs the catchphrase in front of his music. As do Rocky and Booker. And I'd mark out for a techno "Damn" song for Faarooq, too.
