The TSM Weight Loss Contest

Recommended Posts

Like I said, I'm not going to weigh again until next Wednesday. However, I've been busting my ass at the jogging track and on the Bowflex. I've been dieting since January 1st, and I've already dropped 4 belt loops, and my legendary gut has become about half it's size.

I need Week 2 numbers from KOAB, Pbone, Cuban Linx, DCH, Kinetic, Hollywood Spike Jenkins, and Krankor.

If you aren't able to get me a number this week, it's okay. I'll just assume that your weight has not fluctuated.

From what I've seen thus far, Fazzle is in the lead.

165

I haven't really done a whole lot so far except trying to eat better. I was eating pretty horribly before. So I'm trying not to be as gluttonous.

I hit the exercise bike once so far and that was two days ago. Yesterday, I got to whip 50 pound boxes around for about an hour. I'm pretty sure that classifies as exercise.

Shit son, at my old job that would be classified as an easy day. I picked up 700 pound drums, by hand, out there.

Some of the people seem like they need to gain weight, like Cyber Mark and At Home.

Also how are guys at 270 fitting into size 38 jeans? I'm 170, relatively skinny and I wear a 34.

I carry a lot of my weight in the belly and thighs. A friend of mine weighs 240-ish and is in 40-waist jeans. Just different body types I suppose.

Shit, I'm in the opposite boat.. I need to gain mass. There's only so much chicken a guy can eat in a given day.. it's taking forever. :P

I wear a 36 and I'm about 220.

I think it depends on the brand and the fit, too. I only wear boot cut which run a bit tighter.

On the other hand - there would be laughably bad consequences if I tried to squeeze in to a 36 sized jean from Abercrombie or Hollister or something.

I originally dieted in April 2004 until the following December. In that time, I went from 286 to 199. I managed to get into a Large-size shirt for the first time since I was probably 10 or 11 (I was 23 at this time), and in 32-Waist jeans. However, I did this with ZERO exercise, and just drastically altered my diet. The result of not exercising was even though I lost nearly 90 lbs, I still looked like shit naked. Since then, through piss-poor eating habits and next to no exercise, I've ballooned back to 278, but am down to 268 last I checked (last Sunday, the 18th), after dieting since January 1st. This time I'm trying to do it right. A shitload of jogging/walking, eating right, and hitting the Bowflex "20 minutes a day, 3 days a week".

pants positioned low and tight belts are the culprits

I always find the news stories on obesity entertaining.

Mainly because they always have the stock video of the fat ass walking down the street.

Minus their face.

Like that person doesn't know that's their fat ass walking down the street.

Woops I forgot to weigh myself, I'm 91 pounds now.

Yeah, I thought that too. Are you like a midget? If not, you should probably gain weight rather then lose it.

5 foot 6 and growing isn't midget. I'm more like anorexic thin without being anorexic. Probably high metabolism.

Put it this way, I'm not in University yet. But I'm not like a kid either. I'm in between. I grew about 5-6 inches last year and am probably gonna do the same again.
