Guest Phr33k Report post Posted June 26, 2002 BLACK TIGER vs. TAKA MICHINOKU Eddy goes behind to start off, which Taka counters into a hammerlock, which in turn is countered with an armdrag takeover. Eddy with the snapmare, and he steps on TAKA's face to add some insult to that injury. CHEAT TO WIN, baby. Eddy slams him, then goes outside and catapults onto Taka from the apron. Fine move, there. Guerrero powerbomb gets about 2.5. Taka gets a couple of chops, then an Irish whip results in Taka eating some elbow. Neckbreaker gets 2. Eddy gets an abdominal stretch, and when Taka tries to break, Eddy slams him on his head. Elbow-chop-European uppercut sets up an Eddy Sharpshooter. Taka breaks the hold, then reverses an Eddy headlock into an Irish whip-shoulderblock combo. They repeat the spot, then Taka goes to work on him. Taka comes off the ropes into a stiff-looking lariat. Taka gets whipped into the ropes and misses an Asai moonsault, but hits a flying headscissors on the rebound. Taka plays to the crowd as Eddy stalls on the outside. Taka gets clotheslined against the turnbuckle by Eddy. Eddy whips him into the corner, but Taka counters with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Michinoku dropkicks him out, and hits a sweet suicide dive off the top rope. Taka tries to bring Eddy back in the hard way, but it's countered, which is ALSO countered into a German suplex for two. Hurricanrana by Taka, and that also gets two. Taka gets powerbombed off an Irish whip, for a long two-count. I'm not sure how he wasn't killed in this spot, but hey, what can you do? Top-rope splash gets two for Eddy. Taka counters a slam into a sunset flip for two. Taka powerbomb also gets a near-fall. Top-rope moonsault for Taka, but he still can't hold Guerrero down. He tries another, but Eddy gets the knees up in time for Taka to land on them. Guerrero brainbuster gets a long two-count, and a Tornado DDT is enough to put Taka down for the count in 6:47. This was pretty darned good stuff, and I'd recommend you download it, seeing as that's how I got it. ***3/4. On a side note, if anybody knows what show this was on, do tell, just so I know? Thanks.
