Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted June 26, 2002 I'm a little late this week, but it's summer and I was away. B) Not much this week, which is good, since I want to save money for August. Attack the Gas Station: This funky Asian film has been available on DVD for a while, but this is it's "official" U.S. DVD release. Hopefully Battle Royale will be around the corner. The Devil's Backbone: Spooky ghost story from the director of Blade II is a real hidden gem. The DVD comes with director's commentary. Rollerball: Super gigantic box-office bomb re-make should be interesting in a "bad movie" kind of way. The DVD is pretty loaded, and is the "R-Rated" version, which may make it more interesting. I skipped this in the theatre, so I may rent it. 'Till next week.

Guest Anubis Puppet Report post Posted June 26, 2002 ROLLERBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why ANYONE would feel that this film warranted a remake is totally beyond me.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted June 27, 2002 The same people that somehow think Battlefield Earth deserves a sequel (its been talked about considering they say it was supposed to be a 2 parter from the start)
Guest Anorak Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I've been meaning to see The Devils Backbone for ages, i'll probably get round to renting it pretty soon. Never heard of that Asian film, does anyone here know when Eureka is released on DVD? I don't think i'll even bother with Rollerball, like the previous poster said, its just a completely pointless remake.
