I also know Owen would carry his around and call himself a Slammy Award Winner. Then on 411 there was a review of one of the shows??? When were these things on? I used to be a HUGE mark when I was little and never heard when they were on or anything. I do remember seeing a picture of Sunny's dress that is spoken of at the 96 Awards, and DAMN. Slammy Awarads took place in Baltimore, and apparently aired on MTV (I never actually saw it and have only seen the highlights from Colisieum video). 1987 Slammys took place in December in Atlantic City and aired in syndication. 1996 Slammys took place in Anahiem the night before Wrestlemania 12 and aired on USA. 1997 Slammys took place in Chicago the night before Wrestlemania 13 and aired on USA.
