It hasn't been mentioned on here but the wife of Liam Neeson had a very serious accident while skiing this past weekend. She is rumored to be brain dead and was being kept alive by life support. It has also been rumored that the machine has been turned off. This must be a very hard time for Liam to have his wife dying like this.

I just read that she suffered her brain injury by taking a tumble down the bunny hill. That is one fucked up fluke death.

Further news, she got up after tumbling down the bunny slope and was able to walk back to her room while joking about the incident. An hour later 911 was called due to her complaining about a migraine.

Too soon for a Taken joke?

I'm waiting for the "Batman" pic with special guest appearance by Ras Al Ghul.

ETA: And yes, all sympathies go out to the family. Very sad that she passed in such a strange and unexpected way.

RIP.

And yes bring on the Batman pic. Someone needs to create a 'The Batman pic' generator so those of us without photoshopping skills can make one when the need arises.

The only positive that might come out of this tragedy is the federal government making wearing helmets on ski slopes a legal requirement. In Ontario we've had two ski-related deaths in the last three weeks and neither of the victims was wearing a helmet.
