Ok people, I'm going to use my special modly powers to make a decree...and I think the other mods will back me up on this.

 

Please, under any circumstances, DO NOT go over to the SWC board and flame them. Please don't go over and try to steal people for the SWF or try to convince people not to join or try to tell people how much it sucks or anything like that.

 

I know that there are some of us are not happy about our new neighbors moving in. However, we have to be respectful of them. If you want to get people to come here, recruit them...don't steal them from the SWC. Think about this...how pissed off would we be if some people from another fed came over here and did what we did to the SWC last night and today? We (and in we, I include myself) would be ready to kill them. I know, as a mod, I would have deleted their posts and/or their thread(s).

 

The bottom line is, don't bash them on their own boards. If you want to say something mean, PM or AIM are great...barring that, use the thread we already have on our boards. Let's show the world that we're good sports and can handle a little friendly competition. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.

 

So, please....don't go flaming...ok? Spamming, however, is allowed unless your name is Cutthroat.

First of all, why are you going to support reckless flaming of the SCW? Of all people, I don't know why I expected you to be more responsible. Why are you supporting us being the biggest assholes on the smarks boards? Why?? If they want to start a fed, let them start a fucking fed! Will it fail...probably, but don't make it because WE didn't give them the opportunity to succeed. If we think their fed is so bad, then let it fail on it's own. I mean, Shadow's the one paying $5 a month to be on these boards, so why are you going to make that much more harder. He's not paying to be flamed by the other fed....jesus! I'm not at all saying that we should want them to succeed. All I'm saying is that we should be more respectful than to flame up their board. That's what it boils down to...respect. We'd be up to our arms in anger if they had come over to our boards and flamed us, or if OAOAST coming over to our boards and flaming us. I'd be pissed, and I'd be willing to bet that most of us here would be, including you. I'm not saying that we should endorse them or anything...just don't flame them. It makes us look bad, and we wouldn't want anyone to do that to us.

 

It's that simple.

 

I just expected that you, being our leader, would understand this and not advocate such behavior, let alone participate.
