Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 27, 2002 Asides the Gimmick matches of WWF past What about those Gimmick Matches Deathmatches or whatever could you imagine being subjected on the Roster. Even though the WWF and Vince probably wouldn't allow it because he probably got all his wrestlers on his health insurance or something, which keeps all those cool innovative moves out of the movesets. Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted June 27, 2002 We'll probably never see War Games again. And, that really Sucks! I'd much rather see WAR GAMES then a Survivor Series Match.. TLC we'll never see again. I doubt we'll see 2/3 falls, Austin/HHH No Mercy match again.

Guest Insanityman Report post Posted June 27, 2002 Probably won't see a Buried Alive or Inferno ever again. When was the last Buried Alive?
Guest caboose Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I always wanted to see Triple H in a second Hogpen match(HA!). I mean it is his match, like the BolierRoomBrawl was Foley's match. Thats another one, we'll probably never see a Boiler Room Brawl, but then again, they were shit so I ain't bothered.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I don't think we'll be seeing any hardcore evening gown matches anymore, or any evening gown or tuxedo matches in general.
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted June 27, 2002 The way things are going, we probably wont see any regular wrestling matches again. Vince will completely alter this to World Primetime Entertainment, where we'll see nothing but storylines intertwining the wrestlers and the divas a la "Young and the Restless" style...... Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted June 27, 2002 What about Yokozuna and Earthquake in the "Sumo" Match? (personal markout moment) Wouldn't it make more sense to watch Yokozuna Vs. Rikishi? I mean, both names actually come from Sumo Wrestling.
Guest hhh6294 Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I would really doubt ever seeing any of the old-school WCW gimmick matches Examples: Fall Brawl (Triple Ring, 60 man royal-rumble esque thing) Triple Decker Death Match Four Corners Pittsburg Plunge War Games and any other crated by WcW... Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 27, 2002 no rope barbwire deathmatches Casket match.....maybe at Summerslam since Taker vs Hardy seems to drag on forever

Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted June 27, 2002 Fall Brawl (Triple Ring, 60 man royal-rumble esque thing) Lordy, that's World War III, not Fall Brawl (and you meant War Games).
Guest hhh6294 Report post Posted June 27, 2002 War games is the Double Ring caged Royal Rumble... as so I was told...
Guest DrEvil Report post Posted June 27, 2002 Never see that triple tiered cage monstrosity from "Ready to Rumble" again. I liked that triple ring royal rumble from WWIII, it made for a very hard match to follow, but lots of action.
Guest joshicho Report post Posted June 27, 2002 How about a no-rope barbed wire, fire, death thumbatck pirhana fish bowl to the loser, evening gown, tuxedo hell in a casket?

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted June 27, 2002 WarGames is two teams of 4 or 5 in a double cage (w/ roof). Two guys start. After five minutes there is a coin toss, and whatever team wins the toss gets to send out the next guy. After two minutes, the other team sends out their next guy, evening it up. The two teams continue alternating until everyone is in the ring. From that point on, one team wins by making someone from the opposing team surrender. Pinfalls do not count, and the match cannot end before everybody is in. The gimmick was essentially killed by the Warrior fiasco at Fall Brawl 1998, despite the fact it wasn't a true WarGames. Russo brought it back on a Nitro in 2000, but like most people I wasn't watching WCW then so I can't comment on it. The pre-Bischoff era WarGames are fantastic, and if you want to seek out a WarGames, pick one of those. 1992 is generally considered the best, but there are several others that approach *****. If you can only get something post-92, you want 1996 or 1997 (both were at Fall Brawl). They were the only good WarGames from the period.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I bet we'll never see a "Pepper-On-A-Pole" match ever again. One that has never happened, but I have always wanted it to is a Hell In The Cell Ladder Match. Yes, it is sadistic to even want such a thing, but what the hell. Guest DrEvil Report post Posted June 27, 2002 I don't think we'd ever see an inferno match again. A dumb idea that was poorly executed. The only cool thing was the flames leaping up with every slam.

Guest Narcoleptic Jumper Report post Posted June 28, 2002 One that has never happened, but I have always wanted it to is a Hell In The Cell Ladder Match. Yes, it is sadistic to even want such a thing, but what the hell. Hey, Hardy/Taker could easily become that. I mean, Ladder match is Jeff's match, and HIAC is Taker's match. It would make sense, but it won't happen.
