Guest redbaron51 Posted June 30, 2002 Report Posted June 30, 2002 I don't play much arcade games, I'm usually a Pinball freak. But when I do play its Crusen World Tekken 3 Time Spliters also in Bars I usually play Golden Tee Golf :-)
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 30, 2002 Report Posted June 30, 2002 Damn, so many names from the past... Games I could beat with one play: Golden Axe, Double Dragon, Shinobi Sports/Racing: Daytona (eight player was the most I played with) NBA Jam, Super High Impact Football, Super Outrun (or something to that extent where you could pick a bunch of cars and choose from a plethora of tracks) Other: Gauntlet Legends,
Guest -Cutthroat- Posted June 30, 2002 Report Posted June 30, 2002 Has anyone here ever been to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney?
Guest Gendo Posted June 30, 2002 Report Posted June 30, 2002 some skating game where you stand on this fake skateboard and it does the movements with you. That was Top Skater from Sega and that is one of my favorites too. That game kicked ass. Also one of my favs was Strider. When it was first out that game just kicked major ass.
Guest -Cutthroat- Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Like I said, has anyone here ever been to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney?
Guest Singular Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 I think it was Street Fighter (Not 2, but the first one where you only get Ken or Ryu), where instead of weak/strong/fierce buttons there were these huge buttons that you had to slam your hands on to use. The harder you hit, the stronger the attack. The game sucked, but playing it was a blast. Tekken Tag Operation Wolf was awesome Afterburner with the moving chair Simpsons/TMNT was fun for multiplayer Ninja Gaiden was better on the arcade than the NES And ya just can't fuck with Double Dragon
Guest areacode212 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 How many different versions of Street Fighter 1 have their been? I swear, I keep hearing about all these weird mutant versions of it, but the only one I remember was the one where you could only pick Ken & Ryu, and it had the normal 6 buttons that every other SF game had. Anyone else remember this or am I just a freak? Here's another vote: Karnov, where you played some kind of fat, fire-spitting Russian dude. Something about it was really trippy & surreal.
Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Top Ten (plus one): Tron Burgertime Asteroids TMNT 4-player X-Men 6-player Super Street Fighter 2 Mortal Kombat 2 (I wasted my entire freshman year of college playing SSF2 and MK2) Bomberman Samurai Showdown 2 NBA on NBC Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Guest -Cutthroat- Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Well, we all have our favs. and cons. of arcade games. I still say "I don't think there is any 'best arcade game' I thnk." Uh, I said that? Uh, whatever Mac..
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 mortal kombat 2. it is the only one i have spent more than probably $1 on in my life, mainly because it was so addicting.
Guest Sakura Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 There's two versions of Street Fighter. The 6 button one and the one were you have to punch the buttons.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 This would be my top ten (in no particular order): Ms. Pac Man Defender Galaga Strider Street Fighter 2 Operation Wolf WWF Wrestlefest Final Fight Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Metal Slug (even though it's actually a Neo-Geo "port")
Guest gwf0704 Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 WWF Superstars/Galaga/Defender/MS Pac Man/Centipede/Joust/ Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr/Paperboy/Asteroids!! Am I showing my age?
