Which country (that has wrestling as a mainstream sport) has produced the most/best talent to the pro-wrestling scene?

United States

Canada

Mexico

Japan

In my opinion, I would have to say Canada, because most of the prominent wrestlers that have come from Canada are very solid in all of the styles of wrestling. Japan comes in close second as well......what do you guys think

USA has good brawlers, technical wrestlers, Power Wrestlers- Austin, Angle, Flair, Steamboat, Mike Awesome

Calagary Alberta Canada is the center of the universe for fans of the Hart family

Mexico's CMLL has some of the best light weight wrestlers in the world - Misterio, Guerrero, Dr Wagner, Santo, Negro Casas

Japan - All Japan is suppose to be the greatest fed during the 90s with Misawa as god and Jushin Lyger being the New Japan Jr Heavy god.

I prefer North American Style, I know its a cop out but so what.....NWA X division is still in my mind.

Japan, but really only because I just love oriental people and culture, no matter what they do.

America has probably produced the most amount of great wrestlers because the population is so much larger than any of the other places you mentioned. Not many American wrestlers get the exposure they need to be known because of the lack of places in the WWE and in the popular indie feds.

I haven't seen much puro, so I'll go with Canada as well.

Canada's only really great wrestlers were Bret, Owen, and Benoit, with guys like Jericho, Storm, Edge, & Christian just getting "good" marks. On the other hand, America has produced Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Dean Malenko, so forth & so on.

But for on-average quality, Japan is probably the best. I can't think of a single high-flyer in North America who are as good as Lyger, Sasuke, any of the Tiger Masks, etc.

Easily Japan, the average quality is just higher.

Most of my favorite wrestlers are from the USA, so they get my vote.

I kinda have to agree with Razazteca on the points he made.....

United States has produced a mixture of great technical wrestlers, great brawlers, and great larger wrestlers (i.e. Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels)

Canada has produced excellent submission/technical workers (i.e. Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm)

Japan has produced some damn good fast paced wrestlers who use a combination of chain moves (i.e. Misawa, Kawada, Ultimo Dragon, Great Sasuke, Taka)

Mexico has produced the best aerial and luchadore wrestlers with the purest aerial talent (i.e. Mil Mascaras, Guerrero Family, Mysterio (& Jr.), Jushin Lyger)

I am all about Japan and North American talent. Just depends on what my taste buds are asking for at that moment.

Low-Ki is an American that can fly with the greatest of ease and then there's than mysterious mask man Blitzkreig that some claim that he work in Southern California indys but I believe that they are the same person.

Kid Kash, RVD, AJ Styles, American Dragon are also high flyers in the USA but its hard to compare them to T2P.

Low-Ki is definitely not the same guy as Blitzkreig, I can assure you of that.

well maybe Low-Ki was one of the flippy-floppy guys who wore that mask in WCW, those kicks look very similar to me. I came to this conclusion after watching several of Blitzkrieg matches from Thunder & Saturday Night plus that sweet PPV match against Juvi. They say Low-ki has been around for about 3 years and Blitzkrieg just showed up one night on WCW tv around this time period, plus Mike Teney was the announcer for both Thunder and NWA TNA.

Conspiracy #1382417 of who was that mask man

No, Blitzkrieg quit the business for his day job, as a programmer I think. He writes columns at zero-respect.com.
