Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted June 28, 2002 I don't think I know anyone who only just eats breakfast, lunch and dinner. There has to be snacking. Especially if your job involves physical work at all. Personally, I usually don't have time for breakfast. If I am lucky, I throw down some cereal. I used to eat some fast food for lunch. Now I don't really eat a "lunch" I just snack on chips or occasionally I will find time to pick up some McDonalds. For dinner I eat a big meal. I think my problem is I eat a lot during night-time hours, which I hear makes you gain more weight.
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted June 28, 2002 well I'm never up for breakfast, when i wake up, lunch is just too close to dinner, so i stave off my hunger till dinner, then snack for the rest of the day
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 28, 2002 i skip breakfast and lunch, and then eat dinner every night followed by a snack in the later hours, depending on the munchies or not.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted June 28, 2002 I always have breakfast, but sometimes that's late enough to count as lunch. If I work until 9 (which I do most nights), then I'll have sometime at around 4 or 5, and then something when I get home. I always have snacks and such during the day, too. Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 28, 2002 I usually ALWAYS eat breakfast... it's a must for me. I really don't eat lunch at all... sometimes. Most of the time, I just snack. I usually eat dinner/supper, too.. so I guess 2 times a day.
Guest gthureson Report post Posted June 28, 2002 I only eat breakfast and dinner, actually. I rarely have lunch. There are alot of days that breakfast only consists of a cup of coffee as well. I'm weird though.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted June 30, 2002 It depends on when I wake up. Before 10: breakfast, then lunch around 1. After 10: Skip directly to lunch.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted June 30, 2002 I have three eggs every morning and a piece of peanut-buttered toast for breakfast with a tall glass of milk. This gives me enough energy that I'm not hungry until dinner. It's healthy and economical. Try it.
Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted July 1, 2002 Im in training for shaping up my body for when i go to wrestling school so i eat everyday for the last 2 weeks: 4 raws eggs in a glass(sorry but raw eggs taste good to me) Half of a bagel, no cream cheese or anything. Protein shake. Lunch: Any kind of pasta and a salad. If there is any leftover steak or chicken, than i eat a piece too. Dinner: Either a porterhouse or a ribeye on mondays, thursdays, and saturdays. Chicken Breasts on Tuesdays and wednesdays. Pasta on Fridays and Sundays. i rarely snack anymore but when i do snack, its either carrots OR wheat thins and cream cheese because i cant live without that simple pleasure/
Guest KingOfOldSchool Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Only on rare occasions, do I eat breakfast or lunch. From the time I wake up until evening, if I feel hungry, I snack on something; and even this is rare. Dinner is often the only time that I eat what could be considered a full meal. Thing is, I feel thirsty, more than I ever feel hungry... It's always been this way for me. So I end up drinking tons of liquid (some healthy stuff, some unhealthy) throughout the day, to the point that breakfast and lunch have been very much replaced. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted July 4, 2002 Its much healthier to eat 5-6 small meals (breakfast, snack?, lunch, snack, dinner, snack) then just 3 meals cause its proven that you'll eat way more towards the end of the day if just eat 3 meals a day. Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted July 5, 2002 My first breakfast is around 10:30. I usually have a brunch around 12:00. I snack until 1:30, which is when I have lunch. The snacking continues on and off until dinner at 6:00. I usually have some oreos or ice cream around 11:00. And somehow my body fat composition is only 22%. Fast metabolisms KICK ASS!! Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted July 7, 2002 hate to brag but, 9% body fat.
Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted July 7, 2002 shiiit, I try to eat breakfast but, I normally stay in bed 10 minutes later than I want so no time. Then if it's busy at work, I won't take lunch so I can keep up, I must have a huge dinner though. I think the best possible meal plan would be, huge breakfat, huge luch, small dinner, like the europeans do. --Rob
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted July 8, 2002 hate to brag but, 9% body fat. That's just too low... As long as it's below 25%, I'm in shape. I used to know the formula, but I don't remember it now.
Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted July 8, 2002 22% for a guy is officially fat in the navy; I try to stay between 12 and 15 percent, but I'm at 17 right now (which, I believe, is fat for the Marine Corps...) Guess it's off to the gym for me...
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted July 8, 2002 Does anyone know of a site that could tell me exactly what my body fat compostion is? I know you have to measure yourself and all, but I don't know the formula to get the final percentage.
Guest thefrenchargel Report post Posted July 15, 2002 I eat one big pile of food per day and that's it. I almost never snack.
