Here they are, predictions from the one and onbly Canadain who has never called a main event incorrectly.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

- Jakey boy. Pipe him in the head, Jake!

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

- MVS should give Fugue the chance, since he knows he can't write for later rounds, but I have a feeling he'll go for it anyway. I expect a good, close match, but I'll pick MVS.

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

- The Lovely Miss Sky. She's gots the skills, now how bout she gets a win?

Poisyn v CIA

- I shouldn't pick my own match, but, for confidence's sake, go me.

Silent v Cutthroat

- Silent. If he writes. Otherwise, noone.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

- Hmmm..... Venom. Only cause of that Ohhh Wheee thing. Although Everything else about the Wood's character is pretty cool.

Thor v T-Bone

- Gotta go with Thor to get the duke here. But T-Bone can do well. As long as he's not planning to be around for only a couple shows again. Either way,g ive him a show to knock off his ring rust.

Main Event

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

- Hey, I hope by now you all know my main event ritual. Heh. Just a cheap way to get out of calling the hardest picks, that's all it really is. Still. Never call the main, and you'll never call it wrong.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

-Jake will destroy all.

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

-MVS with the MVS-ish win!

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

-Ahem. Sky will rock the body that rocks the party.

Poisyn v CIA

-CIA is a good candidate to win the whole thing, and it's in Canada for God's sake.

Silent v Cutthroat

- Cutthroat loses.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

-I predict that Spike is brutally raped by Jay Dawg, for he does not like Fight Club, and dies by default.

Thor v T-Bone

-T-Bone is alive? Learn something new every day. Thor with the THORY WIN!

Main Event

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

-Renegade. And just to tell you Mak, if you EVER break my TV title win, I will make a deal with the higher-ups to come back down here and kill you...five times.

The super-dooper 124% accurate predictions of TOTAL DEVASTATION!!! roll into town, courtesy of the coolest double champ you've ever seen.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

-> Jake's back in the house, and i think he'll start off with a bang and get the win here, advancing in the tournament.

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

-> Two very good writers here. Though he seemingly can't write in future rounds, i'll go with MVS to pick up the win here, though a Fugue win wouldn't surprise me.

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

-> Kojack's good, and a former TV champ, but the former JL Champ Syd will most likely be too good for Kojack on this occassion. But you never know what could happen.

Poisyn v CIA

-> This should be a jolly good match, two great writers going at it. It will no doubt be quite close, but methinks Poisyn can just get the win here, and move one step close to the JL Title.

Silent v Cutthroat

-> Hmmm. I think i'll go with Cutthroat to get the win here, one way or another...

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

-> A recently returned vet and the latest newcomer to the unrelenting fun of the JL, should be nice. I'll go with "Hollywood" to continue his good start in the JL and pick up the victory here.

Thor v T-Bone

-> The Steak Sauce Covered Bastard looks to be back and writing again, hopefully he'll show up. Regardless, Thor is showing great talent lately, and i think he can just pip T-Bone on this occassion and advance in the tourney.

Main Event

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

-> Damn. Two of my favourites meet in the first round, and what a match it should be. A former JL World Champ and all around super writer Renegade going up against a man in terrific form, and the first person to be a double champ in the JL since the man doing these predictions. Can Mak continue his hot streak? Or will Renegade look to blaze his way back to the top of the JL? I know i'll be waiting out to read the winning match, and on this ocassion i think that match will belong to Renegade, but it'll surely be close.

And that's a wrap on the predictions for tonight. Darn tootin.

HOLY SHIT!!! I went from nobody liking my character or thinking I have any potential (except midnight_burn) to having everyone thinking I'm gonna win my match. That's cool as hell. Just as a special treat... I'll actually post some predictions. Your welcome.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

I don't know Helmsley and I've read one of Y2Ks matches, but I'm gonna have to go with Helmsley here, for experience.

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

Fugue is a good writer and a fun character to work with, but MVS has ascended the ranks to glory with good reason, albeit he cant show up for the next four cards. I'll go with Fugue for an upset.

Sydney Sky v Kojack

Kojack is a big mean bastard but Sky has incredible determination. I think that Kojack's cockyness will be his undoing. Sky with the victory.

Poisyn v CIA

Poisyn is kind of a tough character to write, but from his previous matches seems to write well, and CIA has talent and a groovy character so I'm gonna go with CIA for the "upset" though he has enough talent to barely call it an upset.

Silent v Cutthroat

I don't know Cutthroat from anything other than his nonsensical babblings on the board and Silent seems to be a "legend" of sorts, so I'll go Silent.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

VENOM!!!! No offense Spike, I got nothing against stoners, but you will have to have your wits about you when you face Venom. Then again, Venom said something about not showing...

Thor v T-Bone

Me of course. But it will be a comic romp writing a match against a man covered in steak sauce.

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

I have no clue as to how to predict this match. As Edwin stated, Renegade is the shit, but then again Mak is a phenominal writer so I have no clue as to who will win. A STALEMATE!!!!

There you go.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

The Jake

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

I tried to visualize the "Van Slaminator" and all I could come up with was a Kryptonite Krunch variant. Nevertheless, Mikey takes it.

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

Haven't seen Syd in a while, is she even writing? Syd, if she writes.

Poisyn v CIA

Tough call. CIA, closely.

Silent v Cutthroat

Cutthroat with a shot at the World title? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

That's gold. Excuse me...

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Aw man, that really is funny.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

Spike is weird

..........

Venom.

Thor v T-Bone

I admit, Thor is slowly growing on me. But I gotta go with the more experienced Boner. Provided he shows.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

*Helmsley back, boy-ees! Yes! The pipe-wielding one himself is gonna knock Y2k back into the middle ages. Jake rules!

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

* Hmm...I'm going to have to go MVS here. Fugue hasn't shown much consistency, though he could win this thing.

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

* The incredibly lovely and always talented, Sydney Sky.

Poisyn v CIA

* Ooo, baby. Match of the night here, ladies and gents. It's going to be tough to call, but if sWo boy gets some time to write, himself to win.

Silent v Cutthroat

* Silent's gonna hurt Cuttthroat really bad. That is, if he doesn't no show.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

* Spike had a decently good debut, but if Venom writes I believe he'll pick up the win.

Thor v T-Bone

* I don't like Thor. T-Bone to win.

Main Event

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

* I don't think poor Mak has time to write, or he'd win this thing and get on his bad way to being a triple crown winner. Renegade via default.

Silent is here and Silent shall win. Although I think CT should try and write for this one. He could write the best match of his life and shock everyone. But I'll still go with Silent.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

Hollywood better stop puffing the chiba and realise that he has a free pass if he writes.

Thor v T-Bone

I like both of these guys but I don't know if the Boner has ring rust so i'll go with Thor.

Ahem. I would just like to say...

If you know that you won't be able to show up for a later match in the tourney (MVS, Mak I believe.) I suggest you just job/write yourself to lose. One discussion we were having about Mak is that if he gets to the finals, but isn't able to show, then some guy's just gonna get a FREE win...OVER THE WORLD FUCKING TITLE.

...so puh-leeze.

As I am gone, let me not be forgotten by making some predictions. I get the feeling that there is going to be a lot of no shows through out the tournament, so the winner of the belt just might be whoever shows up the most.

Jacob Helmsley v “The Rising Sun” Y2K

- If Helmsley is focused and intent on winning he will be hard to beat. This match will tell us. Helmsley.

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

-MVS seems like he's gearing up for the tourney, but I like Fugue's slowly buidling character and his improving skills. Fugue in the upset.

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

-How can I pick against my girl and a former wold champ? Sky

Poisyn v CIA

-CIA is psyched for this more than anyone can fathom. I don't discount Poisyn, but I know the canuck is bringing the funk. CIA

Silent v Cutthroat

-On paper this looks really cruel. Silent. (Although wouldn't it be poetic if Cutthroat won on some sort of technicality.)

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

-Since Venom has gone the way again already, Jenkins gets a bye. I still encourage him to write a great match to showcase his talents and up his stock if he would win the belt.

Thor v T-Bone

-There's a soft spot in my heart for T-Bone in being my first feud and I read how Thor will most likely no show. T-Bone.

Main Event

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

-By all counts this should be an awesome encounter. However, I get the feeling that Mak thinks Renegade has him way outgunned and that type of negative thinking will cost him. Believe you are loser and it shall come to pass, believe you are a winner and the same is also true. Renegade.

Bracket 2 singles match

Mike Van Siclen v Fugue

-The Amazin' One... thought it'll be very close.

Bracket 3 singles match

Sydney Sky v Kojack

-Mojack does the J.O.B.

Poisyn v CIA

-Poisyn with the much-deserving win.

Silent v Cutthroat

-Uhm... if both men no-show, can i be put in the tournament in their place?

Absurd request? Of course it is. CT wins because the earth turned upside down and hell gobbled all the fine-tasting slaves from Earth. Um, yeah.

Venom v “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins

-I have to go with an old favorite in Venom... sorry, Sparky.

Thor v T-Bone

-The T-Boner wins. Seriously, T-Bone, that stuff you do with the sauce is fucking sick. Stay away from us... like, maybe 50000 miles away.

Main Event

Renegade v “The Franchise” Mak Francis

Trust me I should be one cocky sumamabitch and can be at times. But my parents and coach taugh me to respect my opponents abilities even if I think I can win. That way you always bust out the best effort you can no matter who your opponent is. There's no shame in losing to a better person. Shame only comes into play when you didn't try your hardest.

A mantra for all of you guys to adopt is to fight because if you have the heart to never give up your opponent may quit. Try it in a sport and I almost guarantee you'll win. People never want to go all out and the few that do are always envied.

I don't want to seem all high and mighty but although what Frost said is necessary to win, I don't need say I gonna win because I naturally have that attitude everytime I do something. Wether or not I type it out I think my best can beat anyone or at least force them to work for it. Anyone can type it but do you actual feel it. It's a very serious question to ask yourself.

EDIT: With that said I'm still gonna be pessemistic and Wilson is a evil genius
