Okay, I'm a lot, but I'm white-skinned and American, so I voted that.

25% Irish

25% Italian

12.5% Chinese

37.5% German, English, Venezuelan, French, Spanish, Welsh, Scottish, Norse, Greek, Turkish.

Believe it or not, I am the proverbial melting pot.

And how would you divide up the percents in that?

I don't know, I just know that I'm 3/8 a bunch of other stuff, because I know where 5/8 of me came from for sure.

I'm Irish, Welsh, English, German and Russian with a hint of Scottish. Bring me to a boil and serve over potatoes for a delicious European dish.

I've got a question.

On standardized tests and forms, I ALWAYS see this.

Question 1: Do you consider yourself Hispanic? Y/N

Question 2: Please select your race. Caucasian/Afro. American/etc.

Why is there a seperate question about Hispanics?

I've never seen that on any standardized test.

AUSTRALIAN?????

Um, you do know the State is at war with you right now, correct?

All that aside, I think I should look up what my real percentages are for that 37.5%. I'm curious now.

Hispanic means, in relation to the census and standardized tests, "Of or relating to a Spanish-speaking people or culture." It's a pretty meaningless term as that definition covers a lot of different ethnic groups.

I've been told I'm reasonably dark-complected, too...

Dark skinned Black man with freakishly straight hair because of my Grandmothers on both sides being 100% Native American (both Seminole). But noone will ever confuse me for anything but black, they just think I do something to my hair.

I don't really fit under any of the areas you state at the top.

My mom was born in Spain, My dad was born in Uganda.

Both had Indian parents.

I was born here in England.

I consider myself English, Indian and Spanish.

I'm a white American.

German, Sweedish, Welsh, and just a smigde of Irish. I like Potaoes, Meatballs, and trying to take over the world. :)

On standardized tests I usually check "Other" and write American.
