Guest Downhome Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Ok, I don't think that many if any at all was able to logicly predict Chris Jericho being the World Champ at the end of 2001. Up untill the end of the year, he was in a HELL of a slump, and was jobbing to just about everyone. So basicly, it was really suprising that he of all people ended up leaving 2001 with the gold. So, will this year be more of the same? Who do you predict will leave 2002 as the Undisputed Champion? Brock Lesnar, Booker T, Chris Benoit, HHH, Kurt Angle, The Rock, Taker, Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan, RVD, John Cena, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, HBK, Chris Jericho, or hell, someone ELSE that is new could come in and take it all, I have no clue who it will be. I will however say that I predict that none other than Chris Benoit will be the one guy to leave 2002 on top of the game, it's what must happen in my own personal world, lol. So, to you guys... ...who do you think will truly leave 2002 as, the man? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Brian Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Eddie Guerrero. I'm really looking forward to Eddie eventually turning on Benoit, riding up the ranks, and them coming back to that at WrestleMania.

I think he'll get it one day, and I can't wait, but I don't see him doing it by the end of this year.
Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted June 28, 2002 I will venture a guess and say Shawn Michaels will, by some stroke of luck, or talent, or something, will be the WWE Undisputed Champion on December 31, 2002. Damn, I'm odd. - Mike Van Siclen. Damn, he's odd.
Guest Brian Report post Posted June 28, 2002 They have a history of pushing fresh, somewhat vulnerable heels in that spot and there's no other heel I can think of right now who will be up there to do that, other than Lesnar. Considering he's getting his shot at SummerSlam I doubt they'll go with him.
Guest What?! Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Actually, I picked Chris Jericho to be Champ at the end of '01. Which makes me two for two since I picked Kurt to be Champ at the end of '00. Will my streak continue? I'll say, it's going to be a face Champ who just disposed Kurt Angle to go Olympic training, so... Chris Benoit, who will have turned face by then. Guest papacita Report post Posted June 28, 2002 I'd like it to be Jericho or even RVD...but chances are that Chyna will return to the WWE sometime between now and December, run roughshod over the company and squash HHH for the title at Armageddon. She'll then dispose of her next 16 challengers before wrestling Tazz to a time-limit draw in the Main Event of WMX9. CAN YOU SMELL THOSE RATINGS, PEOPLE?!?!?! CAN YOU SMELL EM?!?!?!? Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Far-out pick: Kanyon (well, I'd be happy) Realistic pick: Benoit

Of course, it seemed like a bad one when the months kept passing by and he even had a losing streak against Rhyno. But, I got lucky at the end at the last pay-per-view of the year. And thankyfully they put him over Rock and Angle at the last Raw of the year also.

Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Most likely: Rock or HHH. These guys have been on top for three years and are never really off-top. Pretty likely: Edge. The midcarder of the last couple years that WWE has chosen to give the ball. The way they're handling RVD and Eddie lately, having them stay in midcard after a few brushes with the top, lead me to believe we won't be seeing them with the title for a long time. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 29, 2002 for a longshot I would pick eddie guerrero, mainly because of the stellar year that he has all ready had. he won the IC title, and competed in an early candidate for match of the year. for markout pick I would have to choose tommy dreamer. maybe if he eats enough nasty shit the wwe will put the title on him. anyway tommy winning would be the markout moment of my entire life. it would never happen though.
