Smackdown rating

Recommended Posts

Guest bob_barron

Smackdown last night finished with a 3.3 rating and six share, putting it in fifth place among the six networks. The rating was up from the second worst mark in history of last week, but it is still among the lowest marks in the history of the show.

I think next week will be Smackdown's lowest rating ever given its gonna be 4th of July and people are out watching fireworks, picnicing and watching 4th of July specials on TV.

Hey, I'm an Angle mark...and I'll be setting of fireworks with the kids next week for the 4th. I'll have to tape it. Put it on Wednesday Vince!! BLOW TNA AWAY!

That's a shame, because it was one of their better efforts in a while. Certainly better than this last Raw. Hopefully they won't overreact and yank all the young guys off the show.

Nothing is going to bring ratings up for the next 4-6 months. That's why they need to build for the future right now. Even if Austin and Rock were to comeback in the middle of the summer it would only be a short term spike. WWE needs to keep hammering out shows like last nights SD so when the next wrestling boom happens, the next generation of stars is ready.
