WWF Raw is War Results

Monday September 17, 2001

Miami, Florida

[[After the titantron finishes playing the video, which shows what has been happening in the WWF these past few days, the video where Triple H throws over Austin and Angle finishes. The fans in the arena start to go absolutely nuts as all the pyrotechnic displays begin to happen. Green, white, and red fireworks begin to shoot out of all four turnbuckles, and then they begin to work their way up the ramp, and onto the top stage, where the biggest fireworks are seen. Fans continue their pandemonium as many of them are holding up large signs pertaining to tonight’s event and its matches. Some signs of “Triple H” and “Angle 3:16” are seen throughout the arena. The lights finally turn on after the fireworks display and cameras are seen fanning the crowd to see perfectly crafted signs and regalia. Some people have small moments of fame as the camera fixes in on their signs. After the lights have come on, fans are going nuts and are waiting to see what is going to happen on tonight’s first ever Raw is War for the WWF. Jim Ross and Paul Heyman begin to ffer their commentary as we are live in Miami, Florida. After the cameras end focusing on the audience, they begin to focus on JR and Paul. They both continue their commentary.

JR: Ladies and gentlemen, we’d like to thank you for tuning in to Raw is War live here in Miami, Florida. It’s going to be a hot night tonight, folks, as Undertaker and Kane are about to go one on one to decide who stays, and who leaves the WWF. But how can we forget the triple threat match to see who will advance in the quarterfinals, to decide who will be the World Champion in WWF. Also tonight an unlikely tag team in Chris Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page, are set to face the Hardy Boys in another qualifying match for the tournament. And of course, the main event we’ve been all waiting for folks. The Bionic Redneck Stone Cold Steve Austin is set to face the Olympic champion Kurt Angle in a Steel Cage match-up tonight. And the official in the striped suit will be Triple H (Looks at Paul).

PH: What a gigantic match-up in the Steel Cage. A battle of biblical proportions between Steve Austin and Kurt Angle. But if Triple H interferes in any way, both these men, especially Steve Austin, have said that they will not hesitate to lay their hands on him. It’s going to be a great night here in Miami Beach, JR.

JR: For once you’re right about something, Paul. I think that---

LOSER LEAVES WWF MATCH:

Undertaker vs. Kane

[[All of a sudden, the bell tolls over the loudspeaker, and Undertaker’s “Rollin’” theme plays on the speaker system. The crowd is on their feet cheering for the American Bad ass as he rolls out in his Harley Motorcycle at the top of the entrance way. The fans are taking a lot of pictures and are screaming wildly for Undertaker, as he rolls his way down the metal ramp-way and going around each corner of the ring. All the lights and strobe lights are going in several different directions as Undertaker finally parks his bike on the bottom of the ramp. He then gets up and climbs the metal stairs, and goes over the top rope into the ring. He poses to each side of the fans which cheer him and take pictures of the phenom. He then takes his headband off and is stretching out before his match begins. As soon as the lights dim up again, they dim down even quicker as the giant organs play, from Kane’s music. Some fans are cheering, but most of them are booing and jeering as the fire explodes at the top of the ramp and Kane is seen marching out like an apparition, neither dead nor alive. Undertaker is in the ring watching on as Kane is marching slowly down the ramp way. The fans do not give Kane as warm a welcome as they gave his brother.

Kane then storms the ring in haste to get to his brother, Undertaker. The fans then begin cheering as both of them are exchanging thunderous right hands. The bell finally rings as they are still hammering on each other. Kane begins to gain the upper hand though, as he backs Taker into the corner with his rights and lefts. Undertaker then is reeling as he is resting on the corner. Kane then grabs Taker and whips him to the other side of the ring, into the turnbuckle. Undertaker is then reeling on that side as well. Kane uses all his force and charges at Undertaker, but Taker uses his resourcefulness and sticks the big boot in the face of the big red machine. Undertaker then storms out of the corner and delivers a devastating clothesline to Kane, knocking him down. The crowd is cheering loudly as Undertaker then delivers a huge leg drop to Kane. He then grabs Kane by the hair, and hammers on him with rights. Taker then whips Kane off the ropes, but Kane reverses and whips Taker off the ropes, and when Taker is coming back towards Kane, Kane delivers a thunderous sidewalk slam to the phenom, knocking him out cold. Kane goes for the early victory, yet Undertaker kicks out right after 2. Kane lifts up Taker and has him in a body-slam position. Yet instead of dropping the dead man, he drops Taker’s head onto the top turnbuckle, and Taker is reeling on the ropes. Kane then clotheslines Undertaker out of the ring and onto the floor. He tightens his glove as the fans boo him. Kane then steps over the top rope, and waits on the canvas for Undertaker to rise. Taker rises, but it’s too late as Kane delivers a deadly Double Axe shot to Taker’s head, catapulting Taker onto the security barracade. Taker is seeing double as he is hanging on the security barracade. Kane then is stalking Undertaker, as he lifts him high up in the air, to go for a press slam. But Kane drops Taker chest-first onto the barricade. Undertaker falls to the floor in pain, and Kane is stomping on his weakened chest. Kane then lifts up his brother, and throws him headfirst into the steel post, causing Undertaker to reel again. Kane grabs Undertaker, and hoists him up to deliver a vertical suplex onto the floor. Undertaker reverses it twice, and suplexes Kane onto the floor, which gets a good pop from the fans. Taker is favoring his chest area, as he lifts up Kane by the hair and throws him back into the ring. Taker follows through the bottom rope, lifts up Kane, and goes to whip him off the ropes. But Kane reverses and sends the phenom into the ropes, and ducks his head for a back-body drop. Taker telegraphed it though and delivers a devastating DDT knocking the big red machine out on the canvas.

Taker goes for an early cover, but ends up short getting a quick two count. Taker then picks Kane up and whips him off the ropes. As Kane is coming back Taker lifts him up and delivers an inverted atomic drop to Kane. Kane is favoring his “area” as Undertaker runs off the ropes and delivers a huge boot to Kane’s face, knocking him down. Big pop for Taker, as he goes for the cover, but comes up short again. Taker then tries his luck with a camel clutch on Kane. Taker is sitting on Kane with the camel clutch, as Kane is trying to get out of it. Kane, after a couple of minutes, finally gets up, with Taker on top of his shoulders, and falls backwards in a modified back-suplex, knocking Taker out on the canvas. Kane is slow to get up though from fatigue, but he starts climbing the top rope, and then he goes to deliver a flying elbow. Kane leaps off the top with incredible agility and delivers a devastating elbow drop to the deadman. But surprisingly, instead of going for the cover Kane climbs to the top rope again, and this time he waits for Taker to get up. Taker is slow to rise after that flying elbow, but when he does, Kane leaps off for a flying clothesline, but suddenly, Undertaker catches Kane by the throat! He then lifts his arm over his should and…

A CHOKESLAM TO KANE!!!

Kane is out cold on the mat, as the fans are going nuts. Undertaker is slow to go over for the cover though. He finally crawls his way over to Kane, and goes for the pin. But it’s not over as Kane kicks out of Taker’s choke slam!! Undertaker is very surprised as he gets up, and pulls Kane up with him. What’s this? Undertaker is going for a tombstone pile-driver, Kane’s signature finisher. The crowd is on their feet as Taker hoists up Kane for the tombstone. But all of a sudden, Kane reverses and has Taker in the tombstone position!! Kane then drives Undertaker’s head into the mat for a tombstone pile-driver. Kane then goes for the three count…..1…..2….UNDERTAKER KICKS OUT OF KANE’S TOMBSTONE!! The fans are going absolutely crazy as Undertaker got a shoulder up right before the three! Kane is furious as he knocks the referee out with a right hand. Undertaker is rolling on the mat still dazed from the tombstone. Kane then goes outside, and grabs a steel chair from under the bell ringer, and folds it shut. Kane then comes back into the ring, and by this time Taker is on his knees. Kane goes to whale the Undertaker with a steel chair, but Taker delivers a low blow to Kane, getting a big pop, and while the referee is still out. Undertaker then grabs Kane’s head and signals for the Last Ride! The crowd is going wild, as the referee is shaking his cobwebs loose. Undertaker then lifts Kane up, high into the air and….

POWERBOMBS KANE ONTO THE CHAIR!!

Kane is totally knocked out cold on the canvas, as Undertaker goes for the cover. The referee is groggy as he crawls over to where Taker is. The ref barely lifts up his hand and then counts 1……2……3!!! The crowd is on their feet and screaming loudly as Undertaker has just defeated his brother Kane in a grueling brawl. Undertaker rises to his feet, as the referee raises his arm in victory! The crowd is giving Undertaker a huge pop as he celebrates his victory. Kane is still out cold from the power-bomb in the middle of the ring as Undertaker looks down on his fallen brother. He realizes now that Kane must leave the WWF. Undertaker for some inexplicable reason then grabs a microphone from Lilian Garcia.

UT: Now I know that the rules were whoever got their asses kicked, would have to leave the WWF. Vince McMahon, get your ass out here right now! I have a bone to pick with you. (Crowd cheering Taker on as all of a sudden Vince McMahon appears from the entrance to some boos actually. He walks down the ring with a microphone in hand and gets into the ring. By this time, Kane is already up and waiting for Vince as well. Vince then speaks..)!!

VM: What the hell do you think you’re doing?? This is my arena!! Those were the rules heading into the match! Both you and Kane over there knew that!! I’m sick of hea---

[[both Kane and Undertaker then choke Vince McMahon to deliver a choke slam, but Vince saves himself….]]

VM: Ack!! Wait, wait!! Kane doesn’t have to leave the WWF, but Undertaker still advances in tournament!! Kane stays, he stays!! [[Taker and Kane then drop Vince to the mat as they both exit the arena on the motorcycle to a huge chorus of cheers from the fans. Vince is left in the ring holding his neck and looking surprised. He then exits the arena also but to a chorus of boos from the rabid audience.]]

[[Just as Vince goes to the backstage area, up on the titantron, Stone Cold Steve Austin is seen walking backstage looking pissed. The crowd let’s out some cheers but then some boos also. The camera then focuses back to the ring…]]

TAG TEAM QUALIFYING MATCH:

DDP & Kanyon vs. The Hardyz

[[After the fans have just witnessed Vince McMahon getting punked by the Brothers of Destruction, the speaker all of a sudden blares “It’s me, it’s me, it’s DDP” as Diamond Dallas Page is seen swaggering out of the entrance way and into the arena. The fans begin to boo him loudly as he is smiling devilishly, and making the diamond sign as he walks down to the edge of the ramp way. Fans are booing very loudly as he smiles towards the camera and towards the audience. Looking ever confident, DDP enters the ring under the bottom rope, and walks over to the corner, and poses with his diamond pose high in the air. The fans don’t give him a very warm welcome, as he leans on the ropes waiting for his partner. Suddenly, “Who betta than Kanyon” plays over the loudspeaker, and the fans just continue their booing and jeering as Kanyon walks out from the entrance, and marches down the ramp. He’s posing and looking cocky as ever as he smiles to the fans as well. Some discouraged fans even throw things at him. Kanyon still walks up the stairs and into the ring. He then goes to each turnbuckle, as DDP watches on, and asks the fans “who betta then Kanyon?.” The crowd begins to boo him loudly, wanting him to get off the turnbuckle. Kanyon and DDP are then talking over strategy to each other, as the guitar from the Hardyz theme hits, and the fans give out a big pop for the Team Extreme. They are seen coming out together and pointing to themselves, as well as the fans. The fans go crazy as the Hardyz then start sprinting into the ring…]]

Kanyon and DDP then grab the Hardyz and start hammering on them with rights and lefts. Kanyon tosses Matt Hardy over the top rope and onto the floor. Matt is laying flat out on the floor, as DDP and Kanyon double-team on Jeff Hardy. They toss the young speedster off the ropes, and when he returns, they lift him up high in the air and deliver a devastating spine buster to Jeff. Jeff is holding his sides in anguish, as Kanyon goes through the ropes, and the bell rings. Matt is on the other side watching on as well, as DDP begins delivering upper-cuts to Jeff Hardy in the corner. He whips Jeff into the other corner, and runs with him to deliver a clothesline, knocking Jeff out onto the canvas. DDP then picks him up and whips him off the ropes, as Jeff runs back he ducks a clothesline attempt, but DDP catches Jeff and delivers a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Jeff is out cold on the mat as DDP goes for an early pin. Jeff manages to kick out after the two count, even though his back is screaming in pain. DDP capitalizes and chokes Jeff on the second rope. He runs back and then does a running knee drop into Jeff’s lower back. He looks at the crowd, which boos him loudly, as Jeff is trying to go for a tag. DDP catches Jeff’s leg and pulls him back to his and Kanyon’s corner. DDP tags in Kanyon and holds his back in position for him. Kanyon delivers a right hand to Jeff’s back, and Jeff begins to yell in agony. Kanyon then lifts him up and delivers a side-back breaker, with DDP and Matt watching on. Kanyon goes for another pin, but Jeff finds the strength to kick out after a two count. Kanyon then puts Jeff in a bridge submission. As Kanyon is stretching out Jeff’s back, Jeff is screaming in pain. The referee is asking Jeff to submit but Jeff wont give up. Matt is seen pounding on the turnbuckle to get the fans clapping for Jeff. As the fans begin to clap for Jeff, Kanyon shows some mercy and let’s go of the hold, dropping Jeff to the mat. Kanyon then puts Jeff up against the second turnbuckle, and begins to stomp on Jeff’s weakened lower back. Kanyon then backs off to about the middle of the ring, and runs to deliver a dropkick to his back, but Jeff ducks and rolls out of the way, causing Kanyon to fall on his crown jewels. While Kanyon is busy favoring his crotch area, Jeff is trying his hardest to crawl over to an anxious Matt Hardy, who is stretching his hand out for the tag. He finally tags in his brother, as Matt starts to stomp away on Kanyon in the corner. The crowd is cheering as Matt then runs to the other side, and runs back to deliver a splash onto Kanyon. The crowd is going nuts as Kanyon is swaggering and reeling. Matt then jumps up and delivers a beautiful hurricanrana, tossing Kanyon to the other side of the ring. Matt goes for the early pin on Kanyon, but Kanyon kicks out after 2. Matt lifts up Kanyon and tries to whip him off the ropes, but Kanyon reverses and executes a power-slam on Matt. He goes for the pin but comes up short to a two count. Kanyon gets up and tags in an anxious DDP, who starts stomping Matt in the chest. He picks up Matt and then flings him off the ropes. DDP ducks down as Matt jumps over him, and then DDP nails Matt with a reverse elbow to the chest, knocking him on the mat. DDP then poses to the fans with the diamond symbol. Most fans boo him loudly, as Matt creeps up behind DDP, and rolls him up for a pin. DDP kicks out after 2 and they both get up at the same time. Matt goes for a kick to the gut, but DDP catches his foot, and taunts him. Matt uses his agility and nails DDP in the back of the head with an enziguri kick. The fans are screaming as Matt goes for the cover, and almost gets a 3 count, if it weren’t for Kanyon who ran in and kicked Matt in the back. Matt got pissed and yelled at Kanyon, but DDP snuck up behind Matt, turned him around, and…

NAILED MATT WITH THE DIAMOND CUTTER!!

The crowd was breathless as DDP nailed him with the Diamond Cutter! DDP rolled up Matt for the pin and the referee began counting 1….2….KANYON COMES IN AND STOMPS AT DDP’S HEAD, STOPPING THE COUNT!! Kanyon, realizing that DDP would’ve advanced in the tournament, stopped DDP from pinning Matt Hardy. All of a sudden, Jeff runs in and begins to hammer on Kanyon. He clotheslines Kanyon to the floor in front of the announcing position. Jeff runs across off the ropes, then runs back and jumps over the top rope, as Kanyon rises slowly, and delivers a flying cross body. Both Jeff and Kanyon are out on the floor. Meanwhile, in the ring DDP and Matt Hardy are both rising up on their feet at the same time. DDP goes for another Diamond Cutter, but Matt shoves him into the ropes, kicks him in the gut and nails DDP with the Twist of Fate, getting a huge pop from the audience. The referee, confused with what’s going on outside, does not see Matt pinning DDP. As Matt goes to turn the referee around, Kanyon storms into the ring with the ring bell, and cracks Matt over the head with it. Matt is out cold and DDP is rolling out of the ring not knowing what’s going on. Kanyon grabs the referee, and then goes and covers Matt Hardy. 1…2…3!! Kanyon wins the match for him and DDP, yet Kanyon is the superstar who is going to advance to the World Title tournament!! The referee raises Kanyon’s arm in the air as the Miami crowd is booing him out of the arena. Kanyon then goes to each turnbuckle and asks the crowd his ever famous question. Who betta than Kanyon?! The rabid crowd does not give Kanyon any accolade and he then gets out of the ring, and leaves DDP, Matt, and Jeff Hardy in the ring. He poses at the top of the ramp and asks “Who betta than Kanyon?!” again and again to the booing masses. Finally he leaves the area and heads backstage. Meanwhile, DDP exits the ring and heads backstage, followed by the Hardyz as the match finishes and the camera goes to a commercial.]]

[[Raw is War then comes back from a long commercial and it shows Booker T in his locker room preparing for his upcoming match with the homicidal maniac, Sabu. Booker isn’t asked any questions as he has a very intense look on his face. The crowd begins to boo very loudly as Booker T starts stretching and doing exercises.]]

TRIPLE THREAT QUALIFIER:

Ken Shamrock vs. Hurricane Helms vs. Raven

[[As the camera returns from Booker’s locker room. The crowd is shown in silence, as all of a sudden on the PA system, “LOOK OUT, THERE’S A HURRICANE A’ COMIN’” is blasted throughout the arena, as some people get up and cheer, but most of them boo. Hurricane Helms is seen coming out in his Green Lantern attire, as he “glides” down the ramp way with his green cape fluttering behind him. The people are laughing and booing at the same time as Helms spins around and takes “superhero” strides up the stairs, through the ropes, and into the ring. He starts spinning around, almost resembling Booker T, and stops in place and does a heroic stance. The crowd is laughing their asses off as he stares at the crowd with a serious look on his face. He finally takes his cape off and throws it over the ropes. He’s prepped and ready for the other entrants to come out. As Helms is waiting for the next competitor to enter the arena, all of a sudden Raven comes through the crowd and over the barricade, without Hurricane knowing. He then gets in the ring under the bottom rope, and stares at Helms, who is standing like a “hero”.

Raven then turns the Hurricane around and begins to hammer on the “hero”. A good portion of the fans begins to cheer on Raven, as he hammers on “the Green Lantern”. Raven then whips Helms into the ropes, and as Helms returns to Raven, Raven then cathes him with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Good pop for Raven as Helms is favoring his lower back, and crawls to the corner. Raven begins to stomp away at the Hurricane as Helms starts to fall to the mat in the corner. Raven grabs Helms by the hair and then whips him into the other turnbuckle across the ring. Raven sprints to deliver a running shoulder block, but Helms uses his hero-like quickness and throws Raven, shoulder first, into the ring post, through the second turnbuckle. Helms then begins to dance around the ring, while Raven favors his left shoulder. The crowd is booing loudly as Helms curls his lips up and does another superhero stance. All of a sudden, Ken Shamrock is seen running into the ring under the bottom rope, without Hurricane knowing. People are cheering their ass’ off as Shamrock runs in and picks up Hurricane high in the air for a press slam. The fans are screaming as Shamrock then throws Hurricane over the tope rope and stomach first onto the floor. Fans are shocked, as Raven then explodes out of the corner with a clothesline on Shamrock, catching him off guard. The crowd is silenced as Raven then begins to stomp on Shamrock a numerous amount of times. Helms is seeing double as he pulls himself up from the side of the mat, as Raven delivers a baseball slide to Helms, knocking him over the Spanish announce table. Raven is gloating to Helms and talking trash, as Shamrock sneaks up behind Raven, and rolls him up in a cradle for the pin. Raven barely gets out at 2 and a half, and they both rise to their feet at the same time. Raven kicks Shamrock in the gut and goes for his patented left arm DDT, but Shamrock takes advantage of it and turns it into a Northern Lights suplex, perfectly rolling him up for the pin. Raven gets out at 2 again, but this time is dazed. Shamrock lifts Raven up from the mat, whips him off the ropes, and nails Raven with a spinning heel kick to the face, getting a big pop from the fans. As Helms is finally up and getting into the ring from the baseball slide, Shamrock goes after him as he hammers Helms from inside the ropes. Helms uses his sneakiness and nails Ken with a jaw-jack, hanging Shamrock’s neck on the rope. Shamrock is holding his throat, as Helms gets his cape, puts it on, climbs to the top rope, and hits Shamrock with a beautiful cross body block. The ref is down for the count, but Helms comes up short as Raven gets up and elbows Helms in the back of the head. Raven grabs Helms head, lifts Helms over his shoulder, and nails the Hurricane with a shoulder breaker. Raven then rises to his feet, only to have Shamrock deliver a roundhouse martial arts kick to Raven’s head, knocking him out on the canvas. Both Helms and Raven are out, as Shamrock focuses his attack on Raven, by securing Raven in a reverse chin lock. For about a minute Raven is fading fast, but Helms brings in a steel chair into the ring, and without the referee looking, nails Shamrock in the back with it, and quickly tosses it out. Shamrock and Raven are both out now, as Helms goes up to the top rope, looks to the booing crowd, and hits BOTH Shamrock and Raven with a moonsault. Helms then creatively covers both individuals, and goes for the win. Both Raven and Shamrock kick out at the same time, after a quick two count. Helms has a confused look on his face, as he then lifts both superstars up, and crashes their heads into each other, and as Raven is first to turn around, Helms nails him with a drop kick. When Helms gets to his feet, Shamrock lifts the youngster up and nails him with a devastating sidewalk slam, getting a huge pop from the fans. He then picks Helms up, whips him off the ropes, and throws Helms over his head, delivering an overhead belly to belly suplex. Helms is out as Raven then finally gets up in the corner. Raven is walking towards Shamrock trying to avoid him, but Shamrock turns around and goes for a super kick. Raven ducks this time, kicks Shamrock in the gut, and has him in position for a pile driver. He lifts up Shamrock, but goes for a power bomb. Shamrock attempts to hammer on Raven so he can drop him, but Raven utilizes his skills and hangs Shamrock’s neck over the top rope. Raven is rising slowly to his feet, as Helms is seen waiting for him in a hero’s stance. The crowd is screaming for Raven to turn, but it’s too late as Hurricane then delivers a well-timed hurricanrana. Helms then focuses his attack on a weakened Shamrock as he begins to him with elbows to the back of the neck. He backs him into a corner, and hammers on him some more. Then he tosses Shamrock to the mat with a snap mare, and locks in a reverse chin lock of his own. Raven gets a hold of the steel chair that Helms threw out of the ring, crawls back in, and nails Helms in the back. This time the referee sees it, and throws the chair out of the ring. Raven and the ref are arguing, and Raven’s back is turned. Shamrock, out of no where, rises to his feet with an intensely angry look. It seems he has snapped again, as Raven turns around, only to walk into a side belly-to-belly suplex. The fans are going wild as Shamrock screams loudly. He then grabs Helms’ ankle, who was trying to crawl out of the ring, and locks on the Ankle Lock. The crowd is popping like crazy as Helms is tapping out!! But the camera then locks in on Raven, who is distracting the referee. Shamrock sees this and gets up. He runs towards Raven, screaming, and tries to nail him with another super kick, but Raven ducks, gut checks Shamrock…..and

GETS THE DDT ON SHAMROCK!!!

Shamrock is totally out cold from the DDT, as Raven then goes for the quick cover. The ref gets on the mat, and counts. 1, 2, 3!! Raven picks up the victory after a grueling triple threat match! Raven quickly rolls out of the ring, lifts his arms up in the air, and walks up the ramp way. Raven is raising his arms in the air to a half booing half cheering crowd. He then makes his way backstage. Shamrock rises finally from the devastating DDT, and snaps again. He finds the steel chair, and starts whaling the Hurricane with it. It’s Almost as if he is taking his frustration out on Helms. The people are popping loudly as Shamrock puts the Ankle Lock on Helms again, trying to fracture his ankle. A number of referees are running down the ramp, and getting into the ring to try and contain Shamrock, who is behaving like an animal. Shamrock finally lets go of Helms’ ankle, and delivers a few sidewalk slams to referees. He gets out of the ring, and walks to the backstage area, as the fans are cheering the former UFC Champ. Helms, meanwhile, is taken backstage with the help of the officials. It’s safe to say the Hurricane has been avoided.

[[As Helms is being personally escorted to his locker room by the referees, the camera then focuses in on Stone Cold Steve Austin, who is sitting in his lavish locker room, and getting ready. The fans let out a huge chorus of boos as Austin stretches his body to prepare for his upcoming cage match later tonight. Austin then grabs the cameraman, flips off the camera, gets a huge chorus of boos, and shoves the cameraman, along with his camera, out of his locker room. You can tell that he is in no mood for last minute interviews…]]

ONE-ON-ONE MATCHUP:

Booker T vs. Sabu

[[As the camera then focuses back onto the ring, Sabu’s old ECW theme hits the arena to a big chorus of cheers. Sabu is seen coming out with his manager, Bill Alfonso. The crowd is popping loudly and snapping their cameras as the homicidal maniac is running his way, along with Alfonso, down the ramp and into the ring. Alfonso simply waits on the outside, acknowledging his superstar. Sabu then points to the sky as he climbs each turnbuckle, getting a huge pop from the fans. He then waits anxiously in the ring for his opponent, with a very insane expression on his face. All of a sudden, Booker T’s phrase blasts over the loudspeakers. CAN YOU DIG IT SUCKA?! The crowd immediately goes from loud pops to mind boggling heat, as the Book makes his way down the ramp. He’s looking at “his” fans as they boo him and throw things at him. Booker shrugs them off as he makes his way into the ring under the ropes. He gets up on each turnbuckle and salutes the audience, which boos him out of the building. Finally, after showboating to the fans, Booker and Sabu are ready to get it on. All of a sudden, “Money, money, money, money….” Plays over the loudspeaker, as the commissioner, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, makes his way out to the ramp, and down it. The fans are screaming wildly for the calm and always confident commissioner, as he smiles and makes his way down the ramp. Booker and Sabu have both turned around and are now staring at DiBiase with confused looks. Even Alfonso and the referee are perplexed as to why the commissioner has appeared. He walks around the ring smiling, and gets a microphone from Lillian Garcia. He walks up the stairs and enters the ring through the ropes, wearing one of his traditional money suits. As Booker T and Sabu are standing perplexed in the middle of the ring, DiBiase begins his sudden and suprising announcement…]]

TD: Booker, Sabu, I do not mean to intrude upon your match, however I have come to a certain conclusion concerning this match. Booker, I know that you were guaranteed a spot in the World Championship tournament, yet I must protest as to why Vince McMahon has forced you to put your placement on the line against Sabu (the crowd is equally confused). Sabu, no offense to your talents, but I have come to a conclusion that you just aren’t talented enough to advance to the next level here in the WWF. I have decided, that I shall PURCHASE Booker T’s placement in the tournament, to guarantee his position (Crowd beginning to boo softly)! As everyone here and in this arena knows, everybody has a price to pay, for the Million Dollar Man, and Sabu, the time has come for you to pay the price tonight, as I shall purchase Booker T’s placement (Crowd beginning to boo loudly as DiBiase and Booker smile confidently, as DiBiase has pulled out the check in which was signed earlier). Now, gentlemen, if you’ll excuse me, Booker and I have more pressing matters to attend to (Crowd booing very loudly as the commissioner has just taken away Sabu’s chance to become a tournament finalist. Sabu is highly infuriated and tries to go after the two cohorts, but Alfonso holds him back. DiBiase and Booker T make their way backstage talking and smiling about the events that have unfolded here tonight. The fans are so surprised and pissed off that they continue to boo loudly. Sabu cannot believe it as he marches his way with Bill Alfonso up the ramp and into the locker room area)!

STEEL CAGE MAIN EVENT:

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle

[[As fans have just witnessed a huge turn of events as the WWF commissioner Ted Dibiase has decided to put his "money" on Booker T for the tournament, the fans are getting ready for the main event steel cage match. The glass breaks over the PA system as Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out to a stir of boos. He walks down the aisle with his BMF walk. Then, "Medal" hits the PA system as everyone in the arena is standing and popping for the Olympic Hero, Kurt Angle. Kurt stands at the top of the aisle as the pyros shoot out fireworks. He then walks down and places his medals on the time keepers desk. He then gets into the ring as Austin and Angle stare eachother down, and the cage lowers around them. The bells rings as the match goes under way.]]

As Austin and Angle are staring each other down, both men with intensely angry looks on their faces, the bell sounds and the battle is finally under way. Austin and Angle begin to exchange thunderous right hands, as Austin begins to get the advantage, knocking a half step back into the corner with each blow. Austin stops hammering on Angle, only to begin stomping away at the Olympic hero. Angle quickly falls to the mat from Austin’s tremendous boots to the chest. Austin continues to stomp a mud hole in Angle’s chest, then stops to flip the birdie to the Olympic champ. The crowd lets out some boos, as Austin lifts Angle up, whips him to the other turnbuckle, and nails him with a reverse elbow. Angle falls to the mat after the blow, and Austin executes a few fist drops on Angle’s back.
