Hangouts

So, since we have a thread concerning what other websites we go to, why not have one for when we're not stuck to the chair in front of our computers.

For me, I'll typically chill at a coffee shop in the main section of town. I don't even drink coffee anymore (haven't since '96), but I've been hanging at this place for the last 6 or so years. A few years back, another coffee shop opened down the street, and that one tends to house the younger crowd, leaving the kids who grew up in the original coffee shop (and are now somewhat more mature, lol) to congregate without having to deal with any, as my friend puts it "baby bullshit".

I'll occasionally go to the other coffee shop, but not much, as I can't stand certain people that frequent the place. My uncle also owns a bakery/deli, so we'll hang there (free eats!), and there's a pool hall over near my g/f's house, so I'll head over there a few times a month with friends, usually to kill time before I head to her house/go out with her.

Outside of my house, I'm usually at the park, a friend's house, in the pub, or my favourite place in the whole world: My Girlfriends bedroom.

Yep, I'm afraid that I'm with Treble on this. I don;t have a social life, and I'm only 19. The last time I went out with friends was in March, when I was visiting pals in Massachusetts.

i go to denny's or waffle house with my friends to drink coffee and/or eat. when i'm at home, there's honestly nothing i'd rather be doing than shooting the shit at waffle house with my 2 best friends. its basically through my waffle house/denny's conversations that i shape my perspective on life at home. there is absolutely no better way to connect with someone you're not sexually attracted to than by talking over coffee about whatever comes up.

I would be working too. Nothing like 3pm till 2am 4 days a week.

Dude, that sucks... what job is that?

Oh, as for when I'm not in front of my computer, I'm probably watching a movie, or doing laundry, or hanging with my friends at one of their houses. I don't really get out anywhere near as much as I should

As I am the only one out of my friends who doesn't live at home, hanging out usually involves them all coming round mine to drink beer and smoke weed.

We don't go out at weekends 'cos most of us work in the same nightclub, and if we go out, it has to be in the week when most normal people are staying in.

Either skating downtown and running from the cops or school, unfortunatley.

These days, it seems like I never leave the house except to go do something wrestling-related, which is pretty sad when you think about it.

Doing tech work. It at least gives me 3 days off and it avoids the bitch of traffic during my commute.

I'm usually at work, which leaves me too exhausted to do anything else. I'll go out every once in a while but...it's not often. I do spend a ridiculous amount of time (and money) in the four music stores here, though. That's about it.
