I thought the XWF "officially" closed up shop not too long ago? Like they were a threat anyway.

He's still in the indys..I'm pretty sure he's wrestled for Border City Wrestling out of Windsor and a variety of east coast indys.Dawn in a major promotion without Simon isn't unheard of.She was in ECW quite a while before they signed him.

So she is one of those strong independant Wrestling women that doesn't need to sign to a company as long as her Boyfriend/Hubby is there.

He's working as a jizz mopper at some cheap titty bar, just all the rest of ECW's "talent."

simon and swinger together would be a great tag team for the wwe to pick up. they wrestled great together in ecw and with dawn marie on their side as heel could be awesome champs.

Probably true... but could they have toppled the glory that the Impact Players had with Dawn Marie? I doubt it...

As to the question... the bastard better be staying as far away from my Dawn Marie as possible.

Consider that Simon's biggest contribution to ECW was making dick jokes, and Swinger was actually more vanilla in the ring than he was, I don't see where in the hell the word "great" can fit into a description of the two.

so clearly you weren't fans of theirs. i don't think they were as bad as you make then out to be and their skills are probably better than current wwe tag champs billy and chuck.

Diamond is a solid,if unspectacular, wrestler. If his biggest contribution to ECW was dick jokes,it's because nobody gave him anything to do while he was there.

I forgot all about the Dick angle. I that was funny as hell IMO. Any angle that involves Tajiri telling someone they suck dick *UNEDITED* on broadcast TV is fine with me.

As for Simon and Swinger...I don't remember too much about the team since DirecTV shut us down when they were really starting to pick up (and Hardcore TV wasn't showing anything in those days), but they seemed pretty cool to me. The Problem Solver always kinda seemed like a 3D rip-off to me, but I think that alone would get them over with the WWE crowd.

Simon really was a pretty average wrestler and a pretty average talker. There's just only so much heat you can get from "Simon has a problem" and "Simon says" over and over again. I can't see him really doing much of anything of note for the rest of his career.

Billy and Chuck at least have a formula down and a gimick that gets them heat. Neither of them are beyond decent on their best day, but they still put on better matches than the total schmozes that Simon and Swinger put on every week. Chuckabilly aren't really to blame for the current dry spell of the tag division because they've literally had no credible challengers in four months and you can't have a tag division with one team.

Simon/Swinger, on the other hand, were thrown out there every week with all the other make-shift tag teams in ECW and never once succeeded in setting themselves appart from their rest of the would-be competitors.

By himself, Simon Diamond was about as average as wrestlers get, but with his cast of mis-fits always following him around and his So Bush League That It Had To Get Over in ECW "Dick" angle, he was possibly the guy I wanted to see least on my TV screen out of everyone in ECW, save Justin Credible.

Swinger was just a totally forgetable guy. I think he was supposed to be narcissistic, but every segment he was in forced me to forget about him two minutes afterwards.

Maven's Eyebrows, I'd just like to say that your signature picture is possibly one of the most disturbing things I've seen all day.
