Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 2, 2002 evenflowDDT: Raven's ECW finisher... now it's "The Raven Effect". Actually, the irony in all this is, I'm a Raven fan who's never seen him at his peak in ECW. I've only read about Raven's history online... anyway, pretty straightforward explanation of my member name. More fun is my e-mail address/IMDb name (no, not the one with thesmartmarks, the one people actually e-mail me at [HINT: that means I want to you comment on my columns and how I could improve them or how they r0x0r your s0x0rs!]) abba_owns_me: A long long, time ago, I wanted to start a music website called "Good Music Sucks!", and I did and wrote I think 5 or 6 (less than 10, I know that much) reviews on it until I got bored and didn't update it (that was 2 years ago... it's probably still up at http://nav.to/good.music.sucks). Anyway, for a silly little irony joke, I thought of one of the cheesiest, dopiest music groups EVER, and put that they own me, suggesting that they rule, when they in fact, do not. Smell the hilarity! Damn... I've become too smarky when I'm posting cynically about my own e-mail address... WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S 5:13?! I MEANT TO DO THINGS TODAY!!! ...and people wonder why I find enjoyment in such "bad" movies... I've become too sarcastic... I've lost my mind. ::claps hands. A mysterious individual comes to provide EVIL LAUGHTER~!:: HA! who's bored now?! Oh, that's not a good thing...
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 About a year ago I wrote for Rantasia.net (it's dead now). I reviewed a tape from like 1980 and had a streak of old tape reviews. So I was given the nickname "Retro Rob", which then became my EZBoard name because I forgot my old password or something like that. I've kept the name ever since. As for 215: Feburary 15 is my birthday.

Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Zack Malibu-The Zack part comes from my real life nickname, which I earned due to a)extreme fondness for Saved By The Bell and b)similarities to the main character, Zack Morris (similar in look, style, and SOME actions...I never put Jello in my school's pool...) I added the Malibu part just as a "trendy" last name kind of thing, also pretty much a play on my preppiness.

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted July 2, 2002 I know everyone is just dying to know what mine means. Back in 1998, I was introduced to Yahoo! shortly after I got kicked off of AOL (and damn glad now that I was). I needed a screen name for Yahoo!. Well it just so happened at the time that I had just seen a WCW tape that had the debut of Norman the Lunatic on it. At the time I was a big mark for all of Mike Shaw's failed gimmicks (still am I guess). While I was signing up for a name I was watching the news, and they had a story on this crazy guy named Marvin Edwards (?) who looked eriely similar to good ol Mike Shaw in the Norman the Lunatic getup. I put 2 and 2 together, and got Marvin_the_Lunatic. Since then, I've shortened it to MarvinisaLunatic and MarvinsaLunatic for letter reasons on certain sites. Its the only name I go by now, except for my Hotmail account which I set up back when I had AOL.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Popick, my last name Big Poppa was a nickname my friends gave me as I constantly got them into shows, games, with girls, and money / merchandise from stores / georgia tech ... all through knowing the right people and when giveaways were and who to talk to ... hence, since i had the hookup like a mofo, i was dubbed bigpoppa after the steiner catchphrase "bigpoppapump is your hookup... Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 In high school, a friend of mine starting called me Dames, shortening my real name, Damian. I added the "The" because it made me sound more important. The 7 is my favorite number and when I signed up, The Dames was corrupted somehow so I'm stuck with thedames7. Dames

Guest GenerationNever Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Mine? Well...you have people referring to the current generation of young adults as "Generation-X". So GenerationNever would be a generation in society that never was. It can also refer to our future generation that is destined to fail.
Guest EQ Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Viva La Poop was part of an ongoing inside joke between me and one of my good friends. When I was looking for a AIM name, I figured I'd try this. It wasn't taken, so now whenever I sign up for anything, I see if VLP is available.

Guest caboose Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Back to the autumn of 1999, I purchased WWF Attitude for the N64. On the names section of the CAW there were extra non-WWF names that Shane and The King spoke. Rather than give myself a custom name that Shane and King would simply call Player 1 in the game, I picked one of the extra names. One such name was 'Caboose'. I spent about six months until I finally purchased WM2000, beating the hell out of all sorts of people on WWF Attitude with my Caboose CAW. Seriously, I must have beaten over a hundred different other human players. Well one time my friend called me Caboose and the name stuck.

Guest papacita Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Well...as for the 05...that's when I hope to be graduating from college... As for Papacita, it's not as obvious as it seems. Last year, I was hooked on the Fabolous CD when it came out , and I actually got it from the song "Right Now and Later on". And since I do mark for Chyna anyway (who used to be called Mamacita in the Latino Heat angle), it just made sense.

Judging from an Outkast song on Aquemini called "Mamacita," I thought the male, Spanish equivalent of "mamacita" is "poppadonna." I don't speak the language, so I don't know. Guest areacode212 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 On LiveJournal, my first choice "212" (I got the idea from ECW phenomenon 911) was taken by a very nice girl. So I went with this instead. And I look favorably upon posters who address me as "212" (I think only oldschoolwrestling and Sassquatch call me this), as opposed to the more common "areacode". Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Youth N Asia...it's a take on the word euthanasia (I get sooooo many people that ask if I'm from Asia) euthanasia meaning assistant suicide or to put to sleep. The name has no bearing on my opinions on assistant suicide or anything, I just thought it'd be a cool wrestling name as long as people understood the def of euthanasia. Then I started a tape trading site called Youth N Asia Video...now I've had the damn name so long I figure I might as well keep it...it'd be too big of a hassle to change now
Guest Ripper Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Well, lets see...the one that won't get me arrested... I played basketball, and my sophmore year I averaged 8 steals a game, 11 my junior year and 11 again my senior year. You basically couldn't get by me off the dribble...there for I got the name Rip on the basketball court. THen there was my "I'm a Rapper" phase and my name was...and don't laugh...Mr. Rip Shit(hey, it sounded cool when you are in the 8th grade and I got to say "shit" alot..tee hee) and that just got to be too long so I put it together a Ripster (Mister + Rip). Then Bone came out and Bizzy Bones nickname was Ripster(i had it first ) so I changed it to just Rest for short (Rest in Peace). Then was some other stuff, that all lead back to the name Rip. So I finally gave up trying to avoid the name and just made it Ripper. Then Buffy the Vampire Slayer(which I am a big fan of) came out and one guys nickname is Ripper, so people still think I stole it from him. I am cosidering going back to Rest.
