Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 17, 2002 Hmmm..... Where to start.... At the beginning I suppose. Summerslam 1995. Barry Horowitz pins Chris Candido to one of the loudest pops of the night. The angle...and Barry Horowitz is abandoned soo after. HHH makes his WWF ppv debut at that same show. hmm... Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 17, 2002 The Chris Benoit heel turn file: In 2000...Chris Benoit pulled off a very successful heel turn that saw him capture the WWF title for a few minutes... Win a war with Jericho at Summerslam. Punch Stephanie in the mouth and get slapped by her and like it. At No Mercy 2000 Benoit came out to great heel heat. His opponent that night? HHH. HHH (the face) wins the match with interference and a low blow. That's fine. But see...Benoit was getting over too much as a heel for HHH. Angle won the title at that same show and became the #1 heel. HHH couldn't allow Benoit to take such a high spot...so HHH ended up being the mastermind behind the "Who hit Steve Austin with the car" saga. Thus cementing himself as the top heel in the company and leaving Benoit high and dry. hmmm.....
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 17, 2002 People who HHH has NOT returned a job to since he became a big star (Around Summerslam 99) Note: Fluke roll ups by Booker T curtain jerking on Raw do not count as big matches. Mick Foley (although most of it was planned that way): Beat Foley for the title the night after Summerslam, Royal Rumble 00, No Way Out 00, WrestleMania 00 Rock : Yes they traded some victories but HHH won the majority and the bigger matches (Summerslam 98, Fully Loaded 99, Rebellion 99 cage match, WrestleMania 00, Judgment Day Iron Man) Rock won his title back fom HHH once by pinning McMahon... Steve Austin: No Mercy 99, No Way Out 01 Chris Jericho: Reversed Jericho's win of title, beat him at Fully Loaded 00, Beat him for IC title in 01, Most Likely at WrestleMania 18 too Chris Benoit: Benoit's first match in WWF, No Mercy 00 The only people that HHH has jobbed to are the Undertaker and Kane WTF? And the only person that he has returned a job to is Angle. But we all know he'll fix that problem today. I bet he'll go get those wins back from UT & Kane before he gives any back. hmmm....... Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted February 17, 2002 That Angle job was hardly clean, and did nothing to put Angle over.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 17, 2002 Also: Let's remember when HHH became such a big star. Austin was injured. Undertaker was injured. Foley retired. We had HHH vs. Rock every night. If not for the injuries, perhaps HHH wouldn't have Main Evented 14 straight PPVs (including the England only one and the triple Main at Fully Loaded 00)
Guest Undisputed Champion Report post Posted February 17, 2002 Another "HHH is holding down RVD" thing. Royal Rumble 2002. RVD enters as #29 to one of the loudest pops of the night. 5 Star to Angle, kicks to everyone else, including HHH. H pedigrees RVD, he stays down for about 2 minutes until Booker T can enter and easily throw him out. Wonder if that was planned in advance
Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted February 18, 2002 blah blah blah, everything is HHH's fault. Of course we wont mention every other "locker room cancer," put in quotes because you guys really dont know shit about the "locker room."
Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted February 18, 2002 bps is totally right, and his job to angle ay NWO means shit, as it was heavily interfered, and was more of a tool to get trips over, as angle was the one who had *all* the heat in that match. of course there is also the "RVD conspiracy," but that has been discussed ad nauseum, so i digress. btw, how appropriate is my pic right now
Guest Ripper Report post Posted February 18, 2002 HHH put sids arm under the rope to corrupt Beniots title Victory in WCW. That was HHH dressed like Hogan with the Trip of doom. HHH was shock masters voice. HHH was in charge of the Pyro in the junk yard invitational. HHH told Earl Hebner to "ring the damn bell"
Guest Brian Report post Posted February 18, 2002 Everybody says thta Jericho's win fit the heel perfectly, why should Angle's be different? Double standards.
Guest WWF4Life Report post Posted February 18, 2002 Exactly...I agree with Brian here. I just think there's a lot of resentment towards HHH because he's an easy target right now. He was the golden boy of the 'net last year and the year before. Personally, I'd rather watch HHH than guys like Benoit and RVD, simply because he entertains me more. =)
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 19, 2002 HHH moves like the Big Slow right now. If that entertains you more than Benoit...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 25, 2002 I brought this back up because it occured to me that I have never shared my FAVORITE HHH conspiracy. Remember the Weakest Link? It came down to HHH and Stephanie right? Gee...I wonder how that happened. The two people with backstage power DON'T get voted off by the talent they control...I'M SHOCKED! Another tainted victory for HHH.
