I thought it quite a bit better, but of course it still had it's share of listless machismo with Kanemoto and Takaiwa in the same ring. The '99 match was like a Jr. heavy version of Steiners vs. Hase/Sasaki without a Hase to reign it all in. 6/00 was more like an M-Pro '96 aping with high tech NJ Jr. moves, a lot more fun and a hot Korukuen crowd. Ohtani/Takaiwa seemed to be a lot better rudo team by that point. Really fun sprint. I think the Liger/Makabe vs. Kanemoto/Tanaka match a couple months later smokes them both though.
