I'm not sure it helps him to get the title now. I'd like to see him get to chase as a babyface, and get elevated to the top spot he deserves. Not A TOP SPOT - THE TOP SPOT. I really think he can be ROCK / AUSTIN level star at their highest point.

I don't even think they know then. That's why the ref's wear earpieces, so they can really change the outcome on the fly.

Good, I'm not the only one who knows this. Here's hoping for tails (Angle). Then, at Vengeance, RVD wins his coin toss and faces Angle at SS.

RVD/Angle might be an interesting match. There is some actual heat there as well from when RVD busted him open a few times last year. Those matches (to me) hurt Kurt's face run more than most people realize. It was a jarring image to see a guy who supposed to be this American superhero being left in a pool of blood.

 

They won't do the thing with Angle fighting both heels and faces. That is a concept the typical WWE viewer doesn't understand.

They are going to turn Lesnar face. If everything goes according to plan Angle will go over Lesnar and RVD will go over Undertaker at Summerslam. Then they will feud over the belt for a couple months.

I'm hoping that the Undertaker wins. I want to see long ass title reigns return. Even though the Undertaker doesn't put on the best matches in terms of wrestling quality, he is a believable champion, and that is really all that matters.

I've done some sole searching and while I can see Kurt Angle being WWE Champeen, I just cannot picture him being the guy to carry a company as the top draw. He just doesn't have the aura to make his matches have that "special" feeling. Granted, Undertaker doesn't have that either anymore, but I would rather the next title switch be to a long term champion than another place holder.

 

If I was in charge, and I'm not, I would have RVD actively chasing the belt right now, only to get thwarted a few times before finally breaking through on Undertaker. Then let him carry the ball for a long time before having him drop the thing. But that is me.
