What is the best wrestling photograph out there?

I was just browsing some photos of wrestlers and I was just wondering what you guys think is the best photograph of a wrestler or group of wrestlers out there, from either an artistic view point or a more basic aesthetic enjoyment?

Personally, I think the image of Keientai performing their special pose on Naniwa is damn close to the best, just because it artistically shows a stable in wrestling history everyone should be aware of... http://www.geocities.com/carnage_509/togoteiohkaz01.jpg

Hope the link works... anyway, what does everyone reckon?

I dunno...something about that... it just speaks for itself.

There's a picture of Owen and Bret hugging after a victory during the Hart Foundation days. If I can find it I'll post it, it pretty much sums up what pro wrestling should be IMO.

good picture, dumbe question:  Who is that?

It's the new IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Tadao Yasuda

well, here's my favorite. it's from Masanori Horie's site - and showcases the magic that is All Japan Pro Wrestling.

dunno how it's gonna show up here, but I hope it does - if not here's the link. it's a picture of Steve Williams giving the Backdrop Driver (arguably the nastiest, sickest move ever in pro wrestling)

how is this relevant from an artistic standpoint? well, you have to be quite the artist at your craft to take this kind of stupid bump. ;)

I don't think that match (Williams vs. Kobashi 9/3/94) showcases the magic of All Japan Pro Wrestling ;)

The backdrop driver pick isn't working for me, does anyone else have a pic or a video clip of it, because i have never seen it.

no, the match doesn't as well as some others. but for a single photograph to show just how extreme the bumps were (let's face it, you're not going to get the psychology of a misawa/kawada classic in a still photo!) it serves pretty good. :)

Holy Shit!!! That's insane!! That move is brutal...is that what most All Japan matches are like, or are there different styles?

Black Tiger - that is quite a swifty photo of the Lyger man - i do love him

WWF4Life - The dangerous / homicidal backdrop is just one of the nasty head-dropping finishers employed by the AJPW wrestlers, but, describing the matches as being like that all the time is wrong. A typical AJ match will build slowly towards the finish, complete with psychology, mat-work and everything else. Yes, its nicely stiff, but its not just big spots and moves - check it out, you might like it.

Here's a pic I'm quite fond of:

I love Ayako Hamada.  Look, she's actually smiling!  I have many more pics I enjoy, but none are on the net (on my hard drive).  I figured I'd post something though so there ya go.

damn, that picture is a powerful image, but I have no idea what it is about, could you please tell me what is happening?

Tenzan looks to be saddened by his tag team partner, Satoshi Kojima, jumping to All Japan Pro Wrestling.

That was an incredible image of Tenzan, I put it in my screen saver.

Here's the other side of that coin.  I love this one.
