Guest Redhawk Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Now here's a hard one. And on a related note, I really like these threads. I guess I'd have to go back to one of his "Marcus Alexander Bagwell" matches, but I don't really remember any of them.

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Well, he had to have at least one decent match. How about his match with Shane Douglas when they won the tag team titles?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 haven't seen it. how about vs. kanyon in a judy bagwell on a pole match. i think this is the match where david arquette makes a run in too.

Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 it was kind of cool when he returned from the neck injury. can that count?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 2, 2002 Buff must of have on good tag match right? Why else would WCW have him as tag champ with so many different partners? or am I confusing him with Billy Gunn?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted July 2, 2002 the only one that comes to mind was bagwell/douglas vs. flair/luger from spring stampede 00. they walk away with the tag titles in this one with help from russo but the match is still good enough.

Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted July 3, 2002 I'd say the last man standing match with DDP. Page busted his ass to make Bagwell look like he was hard, but the guy was still coming out in that clown hat, ridiculously ghey tights and that dumb grin. There was a good bit of emotion in there because of the whole Kim thing, and it paid off. Match was pretty decent. The thing that kills most Bagwell matches is the fact that his finisher normally consists of him flipping off the top rope, grazing his opponents head and them taking a short simple back bump, ouch. NOT.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted July 5, 2002 The only two times I ever came close to liking anything Bagwell has ever done. #1 The return from the neck injury ( ruined by turning him right back into the same f'n dork heel he was pre-injury) #2 The team with he and Scott Norton...could have been an ok heel team with the belts but that would have never happened with Hall and Nash as the NWO's dominating team. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted July 5, 2002 I can't really say I ever saw a good Marcus Alexander Bagwell/Buff Bagwell Match. Clearly his matches as M.A. Bagwell were his best stuff, but I wouldn't even call them good. Im gonna be sure not to tell Santa Claus that all I want for Christmas is a Best of Buff Bagwell/Al Snow compilation tape cause then I wouldn't get anything (overused joke, yeah, but it fits)

Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted July 5, 2002 I actually liked the 4-man between Bagwell/Saturn/Malenko/Benoit and Flair/Piper/2 other people (forgot who else...dammit) on Nitro from mid-to-late 99, whenever Piper came back and got into a feud with Bagwell. Bagwell is definitely one of those guys whos out-of-the-ring antics are better than anything he'd ever do in the ring.
