Diesel beats him in 8 secs. And Bret comes out of this looking good, how? Well shit, Diesel was a "7 foot monster". Who'd be more believable in beating Backlund in 8 seconds?

I was pissed and shocked out of my mind. Though that night I had another case of Markamania as Austin won it back. Scary 24 hours for my markdom. (I was 12, BTW, now I'm 16)

First off, that was the best match that the WWF had in the Attitude era, IMO. I hadn't been into a WRESTLING match like that in a long time... And then Vince brings his ass out to the ring and ruins the whole thing! Then Taker comes out...his return really could've waited until AFTER the match. Michaels fucks up the officiating in the end, and Triple H got a bullshit 4th WWF Title reign, which ended with the Rock pinning Vince McMahon. DAMN I was pissed off after that match.

Yea fuck HBK. Vader killing Mick Foley- again really sad. Hogan retiring Flair Bulldog getting screwed at RR95. THE FEET TOUCHED THE FLOOR! Bulldog getting screwed at IYH4. Yea Bret cheated at IYH5 somehow. The finish to Beware of Dog- Bulldog lifted his shoulder up! KOTR 96- HBK cheated. He had to. Hogan turning had me just feeling weird. I mean this is Hulk and he turns his back on everything. Bulldog losing at One Night Only- I refuse to watch the footage. Bisch beating Flair, Nash beating Goldberg. HHH winning at WM. Rikishi the driver. The ending to Austin v. Angle from 1.7. RAW Vince coming in to help Austin. Montreal in Calgary. The ending to Summerslam had me like breaking things I was so mad. Regal losing to RVD at WM. They wouldn't let him use his hand protection. (brass knucks) Had Regal had his hand protectors- he would've won. Flair losing to Taker- I knew it was gonna happen but I was hoping for a miracle. Austin v. Taker was just wrong on so many levels, ditto HHH v. HHH and finally- Spike beating Regal twice

Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 A couple of Austin-Angle matches are up there for me: Austin vs. Angle RAW January 2001 Great match, one of my all-time favorites, where an Austin title win would have blown the roof off the building and made sense too given the direction they went afterwards. Instead we get a lame non-finish with HHH. Austin vs. Angle SummerSlam 2001 The screwjobish finish of this match really pissed me off, because up to then I thought it was the best match of the year. This was a great PPV but by the end I felt disappointed, all because of the finish of this match.
