Guest Anubis Puppet Posted July 12, 2002 Report Posted July 12, 2002 Pattons voice during the verses of Midlife Crisis I second that. I don't understand why that song wasn't huge. Incubus and Linkin Park really sound crass after listening to it.
Guest King_TIL Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 5:03 into Aenima by Tool: Im praying for rain... and from there to the end. Maynard's voice is just killer especially in that part. YES! Also, in "Eulogy" I enjoy when it's just Maynard and Danny Carey "You claimed all this time that you would die for me", then the other instruments join in "Why then are you so suprised to hear your own eulogy". Also, in "Pushit" when Maynard sings "Then I must persuade you another way" followed later by "there's no love in fear". His voice is incredible. And, in "Lateralus" "With my feet..." to the end. My favorite song changes a lot, but it's almost always something by Tool.
Guest thefrenchargel Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Tool's the best band I've ever seen live..this coming from a stubborn metalhead. They're the second coming of Pink Floyd.
Guest caboose Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 When the music starts to fade out at the end of 'Be Quiet & Drive' by The Deftones. It really feels like you are driving into the distance and your not coming back.
