She has been short—tempered when it comes to non—writers questioning the direction of her writing team, and is also gaining a reputation for not accepting storyline suggestions well. Some wrestlers say she makes people feel stupid by acting condescending when they offer storyline ideas that she either doesn’t like or doesn’t understand. Her standard response to wrestlers who ask why they are not being pushed is that they are not connecting with the live crowds Brian Gerwitz-There is heat on Gewirtz for pushing Nash into the match on Monday without giving him any notice. There is also heat on him for booking a ten man tag with wrestlers who had already wrestled once earlier on Raw. That prevented the wrestlers from working out the details of the match, which led to wrestlers unaware of where they were supposed to be, especially near the end of the match. “Gewirtz has no respect for the art of putting a match together, and the time and planning involved,” says one wrestler. “You just can’t throw ten guys in a ring on national TV after some have already wrestled once and expect it to look good”. Possible new member of the creative team- If the hiring and immediate demotion of Vince Russo wasn’t a sign of Vince McMahon’s state of mind, Dusty Rhodes was brought in for an interview last week. Rhodes had been a longtime rival of McMahon’s as Rhodes was the main booker for Jim Crockett Promotions (WCW before Ted Turner bought it) in the late ‘80s. Rhodes was apparently interviewed for a booking position, which is another sign of McMahon’s lack of confidence in his current writing team. There’s no word on how the interview went or what role, if any, Dusty Rhodes would fill if hired.
