I was watching Mysterio Vs Ultimo Dragon and thinking abou this thread. I fell asleep watching it, but I was waiting for Dusty to say, "Who be bad now!" I was near tears when I heard him say "That could break a laig! That could break a laig!"

Brian Gerwitz-There is heat on Gewirtz for pushing Nash into the match on Monday without giving him any notice. There is also heat on him for booking a ten man tag with wrestlers who had already wrestled once earlier on Raw. That prevented the wrestlers from working out the details of the match, which led to wrestlers unaware of where they were supposed to be, especially near the end of the match. “Gewirtz has no respect for the art of putting a match together, and the time and planning involved,” says one wrestler. “You just can’t throw ten guys in a ring on national TV after some have already wrestled once and expect it to look good

 

About time someone gets on his case about that. Bad enough Nash Slipped and fell and got himself a HHH sized BOO BOO on his leg. But I thought it was a Gross understatement that they booked these other wrestlers in the Main Event when they were already in action once, and in some cases TWICE the same night. That makes it appear that the Raw roster had No one to put on if they kept the same 10 guys on tv all night. That was a screwed up mistake and it should not be repeated again. Sure we are use to seeing a McMahon on like every following mini segment after a match, or see HHH wandering around. But we kinda accept that as their Conceit in mugging for the camera. But why overwork a bunch of guys when you got a roster full of guys in the back?

This "news" is months old.

 

There was talk of Dusty coming back around the time Nash got injured (which is when this news is from), so I doubt he will come back now.

 

Oh, and the Torch talks shit.

Dusty was a very funny commentator. I think that he imitates that Mets fan who coined the moniker "Amazing". You see her on the tapes repeating the word. Dusty makes you not sleep on each match, even when you want to, and he talks about and only about the match as it happens. No shilling the next PPV, and no 'fat ass' or hymen jokes from him.

 

As a booker, I don't know. He does design the matches to be a part of an ongoing feud, that's why all the incomplete finishes. This style works when there are great storylines behind the matches. It definitely falls flat when the sories are poor, like it is now.
