***VELOCITY***

Shannon Moore beat Hugh Morrus via ??? I assume Moore won. The satellite feed came on as Moore was walking to the back and Morrus was in the ring looking upset.

Molly Holly comes to the ring and says she will not defend her title tonight because everyone in the arena is disgusting.

Velocity opening fireworks display.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Jamie Noble w/ Nidia beat Funaki via trailor hitch.

Hardcore Holly and Big Valbowski beat Billy and Chuck w/ Rico via Val's money shot on Chuck.

Tazz and Michael Cole come to the announce table for Smackdown.

***SMACKDOWN***

Before the first match starts, Marc Loyd is out in the parking lot wondering who the general manager of Smackdown will be.

John Cena beat Chris Jericho via DQ from a blatant low blow from Jericho. Jericho put Cena in the walls of jericho after the match. Jericho releases the walls and unloads on Cena with a chair. Referees force Jericho out of the ring.

In the parking lot a limo pulls up. Eric Bischoff gets out. Loyd wants to know why he is there but Bischoff does not answer.

Bischoff goes inside and introduces himself to Randy Orton. Bischoff asks Orton where Hulk Hogan's locker room is. Bischoff enters but Hogan does not seem that impressed. Hogan knows Bischoff wants to see The Rock. Bischoff changes the subject and asks about Edge. Bischoff leaves.

Chavo Guerrero beat The Hurricane via STF submission. After the match Chavo gets on the mic saying he is the premiere latin talent in the WWE rings. Chavo says he is sick of hearing about Rey Mysterio Jr. coming. Chavo issues a challenge to Mysterio for next week's Smackdown.

Vince McMahon arrives to the arena in a limo. Vince tells Loyd the general manager of Smackdown may already be in the building. Loyd informs Vince that Bischoff is there. Vince says it should make for an interesting evening.

Backstage, Bischoff asks Rico where Rock's dressing room is. Bischoff runs into Vince. Bischoff says he is there to check out the competition face to face. Bischoff leaves.

Hulk Hogan, Edge, and Rikishi beat Christian, Test, and Lance Storm via Edge-o-cution on Storm.

Backstage, Bischoff enters Rock's dressing room. They shake hands. Bischoff says he can take Rock places that he has never been before. Rock says he will be at Raw this Monday, only because he will become the Undisputed Champion this Sunday at Vengeance. Rock tells Bischoff he helped put his company out of business. Rock leaves. Bischoff is upset.

Vince comes out to the top of the stage. Vince addresses all the wrestlers by saying if they think the grass is greener on either of the sides, they are free to negotiate. Vince says the new general manager of Smackdown is Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie comes out and takes the mic. Vince leaves. Stephanie says that Bischoff is a parasite and she will not allow him to steal the Smackdown superstars. Stephanie says she has no problem with Triple H going down to the ring at Vengeance and choosing between Raw and Smackdown, because she knows that Triple H will make the right decision. Stephanie makes her first official act as general manager by throwing Bischoff out of the building. Stephanie goes to the back to look for Bischoff. She finds him talking to Team Canada. Stephanie gets in Bischoff's face and says he can leave on his own or she can have him thrown out. Bischoff says he wil leave on his own because there is a lot of time between now and Sunday, when he will make his first official act as general manager of Raw.

Billy Kidman beat Tajiri via shooting star press. After the match Jamie Noble came in and powerbombed Kidman.

Undertaker comes down to the announce table to watch the main event.

The Rock beat Kurt Angle via DQ after a interference clothesline from Undertaker. After the match Angle hit Undertaker with a chair and put the ankle lock on Rock. Angle holds the Undisputed title high in the air. Angle turns around into a chokeslam from Undertaker. Undertaker takes his belt and leaves to the back.

After Smackdown is over, Rock gets on the mic and asks Angle to come back to the ring. Angle asks Rock how is ankle is feeling. Angle says that is just the beginning of how he will feel on Sunday. Rock asks Angle to shake his hand. Angle shakes Rock's hand. Rock gives Angle a rock bottom followed by the people's elbow. Rock leaves to the back. Angle calls Rock back out. Angle says the rock bottom did not hurt and the people's elbow is a sissy move. Angle says Undertaker is a sissy too. Angle begs either Rock or Undertaker to come back down. Angle starts walking up the ramp. Rock comes back out. Angle tells Rock it is good to have him back. Rock shakes Angle's hand and hugs him. They both leave to the back.

Chimmel thanks everyone for coming.

That's it...

2 Cruiser matches? Is the world ending?

Well my thursday is now officially freed up. Jericho loses to Cena in the curtain jerker give me a fucking break.

Wasn't Bischoff's first official act giving Big Show the match against Booker T at Vengeance or am I slipping at my old age?

*rolls his eyes*

BAH GAWD, That John Cena is holding Jericho down! He's got backstage pull! Jericho should never, ever lose!

Now that that's over..

Looks like a decent show..minus the Steph Crap.

well maybe they can actually make the brands somewhat competitive

Eh...he didn't really lose. Basically, Jericho annihilated him. That's like saying Big Show "lost" to Booker T on RAW. Yeah, technically he lost the match by DQ...but who came out looking like a monster and who came out looking like a piece of shit?

If I wasn't sure that michael cole is just going to be screaming about how Jericho knew he couldn't beat Cena I would have faith in that logic but they are just going to make him look like a pussy. Hopefully I am wrong.

And as for Jericho never, ever losing how about him sometimes, at least once winning.

I just called HHH up and asked him about that idea, and he says not as long as he's breathing air. Unless, of course, the guy doing the job to Jericho is Rocky. HHH says that's okay.

Let's see..

Big Steph returns as GM..

Jericho loses to John Cena because of a fucking low blow that is done in just about every main event match..

Tajiri wrestles Kidman for the 5,039th time...

I guess I'll just tune into the last 10 minutes to see Rock vs. Angle.

You know..it really had to suck to be at Smackdown..RAW audience gets a huge surprise of Bischoff as GM, and the SD crowd gets.... Stephanie.

You do realise that Jericho got the pin on Cena last week I hope? Oh but wait, his feet were on the ropes and so that doesn't count as a win for him right? He should just be beating Cena clean every week?

I also find it funny that people will complain about HHH nixing Cena's angle with Vince but complain when he actually gets any sort of a push in the ring against the top guys.

My response...who gives a shit? With that fucking bitch making her return to TV when she lost that right TWICE in the last eight months, I'm not going out of my way to watch SmackDown anymore. Fuck this. Who cares who gets pushed or doesn't get pushed when the worst mic worker in the company is the storyline person behind the fucking show? Fuck her and Vince for making things interesting and fucking it up in less than 24 hours.

Why have two heel GMs?

It doesn't make sense to me.

Of course, I'm just a (slightly) smart mark.

If Jericho and Cena can come out looking strong in the opener, than the show (with the exception of Steph, who will have the channel changed on her) sounds pretty good.

And yet Smackdown is the better show. Yeah.

1) Hurricane taps? Booo!

2) Well, at least it looks like the two brands will be "competing" storyline-wise. That's better than nothing, though I'd prefer they really be competing.

3) DQ's galore.

4) Heh - I like the stuff that happened off air.

Christ! NO ONE WANTS STEPHANIE!

I have NO reason to watch SD! this week.

Stephanie, 2 shitty-weight matches, Lance jobs over Test, Angle isn't winning the title at Vengeance (Rock looked the worst at the end, so he wins)

DAMN.

Taker might retain. I mean, they did have Brock lay him out on RAW.

Let me see, Stephanie returns, Hurricane and Tajiri lose, and not much else of note happens. I think I will probably take a pass from his Smackdown.

Is Steph being booked as a face? I honestly can't tell.

I'm going to have to get used to not watching Smackdown anymore.

Guest the pinjockey

They can't possibly book Steph as a face. After 2 and a half years of being the most annoying person to ever grace the tv screen noone would buy it.

I've been skipping most of Smackdown lately, but I must admit that I will watch this one all the way through. I'm only watching it for the Bischoff segments though.

They're actually building up two cruiserweight feuds. Wow. And Mysterio vs. Chavo could be really good.

Too bad they didn't go with Shane, but my thoughts are in the other post.

So Hurricane and Tajiri losing is a reason not to watch Smackdown? I guess if they won though you'd be complaining about Chavo and Kidman losing.

Yeah I mean really. At least when I complain about Cruisers, I don't give a shit who wins.

Actually, no. Hurricane and Tajiri are pretty much my two favourite wrestlers, and usually the only reason why I watch Smackdown in the first place. Because they did not seem to be doing all that much anyway, I doubt I will watch. Hurricane seemed to be there to put over Chavo, so he can lose to Rey Mysterio Jr., so that fails to spark my interest. I really do not care to see Tajiri/Kidman again. I actually miss the Maven/Tajiri feud, that was some good stuff, IMO.

Why would I complain about Chavo and Kidman losing? Chavo's always losing, and I have not exactly cared about him since he came to the WWF. It would be like complaining about Funaki losing. I like Funaki, but the guy is never going to win a match, I just accept it. As for Kidman, he is just there, like Val, Hardcore Holly, and a ton of other midcarders. I do not care about him one way or the other.

Vince must have had a brain fart.

He gives us one of the best RAW's of 2002 then turns around and puts Stephanie on a show that's already on it's last leg almost the way the ratings are dipping.

News flash to Vince........Stephanie won't help the ratings!

Look for Jericho to become the official pooper scooper for Smackdown now that Steph is back.

Guest ShooterJay

Think about this too...

Most people do not read Smackdown spoilers.

After Bischoff, suspense will be high for the SD GM.

Therefore, people will stay tuned to the show for Steph's segment to see who the GM is.

Consequently, this segment will probably be the highest rated QH on the show.

Which means justification for Steph to be on TV in WWE's eyes.

I'm so glad I'm going on vacation on Thursday.
