Ross Report, Roster Cuts. Read!

I'm sure there has been enough commentary on this, but I haven't seen anybody say anything..

Also, The Island Boys, Shannon Moore, Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli, Bull Buchanan , Shelton Benjamin and Victoria are all being called up and will become a part of RAW of SmackDown! as soon as possible.

Sanders, Money, Waterman, etc, got let go..yet they kept that one move talentless hack Buchanan? This makes me angry in more ways than one..because the fact they fired guys MUCH more talented than Bull is, but kept Bull because he's Ross' bitch. Am I the only one that remembers the tag title reign with Godfather he had? The X-pac heat he used to get? The hours of verbal blowjobs Ross would give him everytime he came out?

All because he could do one stupid scissors kick from the middle rope on the turnbuckle. "Big Bull, seven feet tall, most agile big man in the WWF, quick as a cat!" That type of crap? This type of hoss-centric thinking is what's sinking the WWE right now. Instead of pushing somebody the crowd cares about, like RVD, Booker, Angle, or Jericho..(who all at one time, or are, very over) we get Lesnar, Bradshaw, and Bubba Dudley. Why is Edge the only one getting a major face push besides HHH? He's tall, has the look, and he's a WWE boy, by gawd.

I've tried to be positive. As positive as I can be.

I brush off the 'backstage politics' bit as much as I can. Backstage politics has nothong on the WWE's ass-backwards way of thinking.

It makes me sick thinking of the "talent" they've kept..and the ones they've let go.

Something that cropped up during the whole Nash bit just may ring true. I hope it does. What was it they were bashing WCW about when the Monday Night Wars were going on? Oh..I remember..letting go of talent..and then making them big stars? I hope Karma is a bitch this time.

I don't want the WWE to die..but I'd kill to see them knocked down a few pegs. Stupid bastards. They wonder why their ratings aren't stellar? Why they're dropping down the tubes?

..they must be the only ones blind to the reason.

Give the fans what they want, and they'll watch. Give them what YOU want, and they turn the channel.

Screw you, WWE.

Good post, EPD... I don't have anything much to add.

Although, I wouldn't be too surprised if Shannon Moore went to Raw to join the Hardyz in a "lost Hardy" angle or something. -_-

I'd think Bull's stroke of luck has more to do with his relationship with Big Bossman. I mean, there's got to be SOME reason why Bossman still gets paid, and I'd assume that he and Bull could be buddies.

What makes it worse (can it be any worse?) he's got no ring skills, his mic skills are worse than Benoit or Jeff Hardy on their worst day, and he's a goofy looking hick bastard.

People talk about Test getting every chance in the world to get over (and he does get alot), but Bull has been around since the Truth Commission! Nothing has worked, maybe it's time to cut your losses.

..... Damn. I knew Bull's were bad and just plain horrible, but.... damn.

In all seriousness, why keep this talentless hack around? If it wasn't for Ross' hoss fixation..we'd probably have a better group of talent being pushed right now. Perhaps the problem is Ross himself?

Guest NoSelfWorth

I don't Ross is necessarily the problem, it's more the guidelines he has to work under.

Vince has in his mind a specific idea of what his wrestlers should look like, and unfortunately, actual talent is not high on his list of priorities.

*cough* I won't blame it just on Vince.

Put it this way. How many times does Ross shill, or put over a smaller guy?

Exactly.

People have always said Vince has this thing for big guys..but.. >_> when your Head of Talent Relations is a HOSS lover, bah gawd..how much blame goes where?

I believe Vince has it in his head that he'll do whatever it takes to make a profit. Ross, now..

To Ross...

HOSSES~! = Profit. Simple as that.

*shrugs* Do I think pushing actual talent would do any worse than they are now? It couldn't hurt. If I was the boss, I'd squash a few egos, kick the roster into line, and push guys that deserved it. Not because they were loyal, or had been there for years, but because they deserved a push.

Uhhhhh, let me see...Guerrero, Spike Dudley, The Hardy Boyz, RVD (he ain't exactly a 'hoss'), Kidman. Looks like your logic is flawed.

hey, lets just hope that as rumoured, jr loses the talent relations job and johnny ace gets it instead. i dunno how hoss-orientated he is, but hopefully he'll actually call up people with talent and/or a chance at getting over.

He 'shilled' RVD, Jeff Hardy and Guerrero more than the Big Show on Raw last week.

Maybe Bull can release an album, too.

Too bad no one remembers WHY Bull was sent to a farm league. Ya know...for sucking.

I don't, simply because so many good guys are holed up in there right now. And I'd rather see them do well push-or-no-push than sit on a street corner with a sign that says "Will Wrestle 4 Food"

WWF4Life, J.R. doesn't shill NEARLY as much for the 'smaller' guys as he does for the hosses.

Just so it's aware..I don't like it when people get shoved down my throat, push wise or commentary wise.

That said, my hatred for Bull is surpassed only by my hatred for Austin.

Ross also seems very..reluctant..about talking about anyone except a hoss. Little guys always "have heart" or "wrestle a very unorthodox style"..something like that.

Maybe we'll get to see the return of Animal.

Maybe Bull Buchanan still has a WWE job is because JR is so high on him. Like someone else said before, JR always used to throw in those comments about his "agility" and all back when he debuted.

Here's something pretty damn funny pertaining to JR/Bull...

Keep in mind, it's fake. It was made in June 2000.

Be fair, Bull is one agile motha-fucka.

We don't know if Bull has or hasn't improved his ring and/or mic work while in OVW. Wait until he actually gets some TV time to flame the hell out of him, fer chrissake.

Guest El Psycho Diablo

I'd rather not.

You see, people can improve. I realize that.

But miracles don't happen.

Want to guess what they'll push him as when he gets back on TV? A monster heel. That's almost a given. I don't want to see that bastard eating up TV time that a lot of more talented and potentially marketable guys could use.
