BillyKidman -- Hardcore Holly def. Rico Smackdown! -- Mark Henry def. Kurt Angle via DQ. Brock Lesnar interfered in this match and attacked Henry, prompting the DQ finish. -- After the match and in the back, Lesnar tells Angle that he is no longer the #1 guy on Smackdown! and Angle gets angry. -- Backstage, Stacy Keibler asks Stephanie McMahon if she can be her assistant. We also see some flowers delivered to Steph courtesy of Eric Bischoff. -- Edge arrives at the building and Stacy orders security to go after him. She calls Steph via cell phone to tell her about Edge's arrival. -- Lance Storm and Christian talk in the back about facing Rock and Hollywood Hulk Hogan later tonight. They re-iterate that they hate Americans. -- Security catches up to Edge and tells him that he can't leave the builiding yet. Stephanie meets Edge and asks him if he will e signing with Raw. Edge ends up taking Stephanie to the production truck where he gets a tape of the countdown to the remainder of the show. Edge tells Stephanie that he will get Chris Jericho in a cage before the night ends. -- Rikishi def. Albert -- Hogan & Rock def. Lance Storm & Christian via DQ. Brock comes out again and attacks Hogan just as he was about to pin Christian. -- Backstage, Kurt Angle is on a cell phone with Eric Bischoff. Stephanie finds out and calls Angle and leaves him a voice mail asking him why he'd talk to Bischoff about joining Raw before speaking to her. She adds that she needs him on Smackdown because he is the leader of the show and to call him back when he gets the message. -- John Cena is backstage talking about wrestling Test when Test comes out and smacks Cena across the face. -- Rey Mysterio Jr. def. Chavo Guerrero Jr. -- John Cena def. Test. Test didn't take it too well and beat up Cena after the match. -- Backstage, Stephanie asks Chris Jericho if he is happy with Smackdown. He says yes and says that he's looking forward to fighting Edge in the steel cage match later tonight. -- Stephanie calls Angle once again and leaves another message saying she expects him to tell her his choice to her face before the night is over. -- Edge def. Chris Jericho. After the match, Storm, Test and Christian all attack Edge. Rey Mysterio Jr. comes out and jumps off the top of the cage onto all three Anti-American members. Cena also comes out to help Mysterio. Mysterio, Cena and Edge take care of the Anti-Americans. -- Backstage, Steph finds out from Stacy that Eric Bischoff is waiting in the parking lot. As she reaches the parking lot, Eric waves goodbye and says "I told you I would knock you out" and then he leaves. Kurt Angle sneaks up behind Stephanie and tells her that he was talking to Eric, his brother not Bischoff. He says he hates Bischoff. Stephanie asks him if he isn't going to Raw, who is? -- End of show. Other than that: Angle (despite losing) seems to have been the star of SD! like it should be. Edge beating Jericho doesn't phase me anymore. In fact...if anything...what business does JEricho have in the Main Event?

Hell, even in that angle Michaels eventually turned heel in the US despite still disliking Bret&co. Why can't the angle show that there are people from other countries who *gasp* like the US and don't agree with the US bashing? Is that too complicated or something?
